there IS a really cool place, if you are in myeong dong, stop by at myeong dong kalguksu, im sorry i dont know the actual name, but that actually might be it, anybody "from" around there should be able to help you find it, i can show you a picture lol

it has INSANELY insanely insanely spicy kimchi, and really awesome kalguksu (it only has like 3-5 items on the menu i think, but thats probably good) and its super super busy all the time

oh wait, i found some pictures. but they're insanely huge, like 3 mb each. oops

this was actually the best place that i ate the whole time, imo.

good food is ubiquitous in korea so there are literally thousands of answers for your question. you could be more specific and tell me where you're going to go while in seoul or any other city.

and yes, as rockman pointed out, "myeongdong kalguksu" is good. i don't know if it was that specific restaurant, or if they sell it in multiple joints, but even though i don't like kalguksoo, i thought it was decent.

Just walk in anywhere crowded in Korea and you'll probably find good food.

sidenote: I wish I could use Korean on LP :/

I never bothered to post this here but Ive been in Korea for most of this month.. going back home in a few days tho on 27th amazing country lots to experience. you really need to learn the language ASAP and ideally also have a friend willing to guide u that's a native to make the most of ur time and make sure u get the best experience. Korean food is the best in the world, I didn't know anything about it before coming here but damn I'm gonna miss it. never decline opportunities to go out drinking Korean style esp with Koreans, make sure you know the correct drinking etiquette (dobt pour ur own drink, poir and accept with both hands on the glass/bottle etc) and always mix ur soju with beer wherever permissable cause it's too nasty to drink straight

not gonna go into much more cause just typing on my phone atm but hit me up on aim at some point for Korea related chat if u want, and do some TL searching, so much good Korea travel related advice and stuff there

edit: wait aren't you korean-american or sth? you'll be alright without my chobo foreigner advice lol
