so were you thinking preflop "well i got odds gotta call"
then on flop you thought "well only 1/3 pot and i got a pair gotta go with it"
and then on turn you thought "well only 1/3 pot and i got a pair gotta go with it"
and then on river it was like "well I cant keep calling and then folding that river cuz i put him on aq"

or what

I guess I've had reads that'd justify calling this down before but generally im not putting in chips postflop, and if I do then i'm leading out on the flop.

You can't just chuck out some stats for a play like this and wonder if they justify it - no stats can justify it. You may feel it's right with specific reads and a feeling for the dynamic but that's your choice.

Researchers used brain scans to show that when straight men looked at pictures of women in bikinis, areas of the brain that normally light up in anticipation of using tools, like spanners and screwdrivers, were activated.

You might be able to justify it with reads. Without any I hate it though?

i dont know if i like it, if he 3bets 20%, you should 4bet or fold, there are other ways beat a lagtard?

which one, I see a lot of calls in this hand

river one is... meh, whatever, but why did you get there?

Browsing through your hand histories makes me wonder that you might not be aware these games are possibly play money. Have you ever tried to cash out? - Kapol

as played, preflop and river are "ok"

flop/turn are pretty bad

I didn't want to just make this thread with a hand history and no info so I added the stats and I felt if I gave my reads at the time then the call becomes easily justified

I was really confident after the flop he was bluffing and timebanked kinda hard on the turn as I was going to shove then said why are you shoving turn if your read is he's bluffing so called and loved seeing the river card that came

So considering the chance he's even bluffing with better hands (as seen by the result), your play in this hand is even worse than people thought initially.

Maybe not super bad in a cash game, seems kinda horrible to risk your tournament life in this spot when you had a very healthy chipstack, so I guess I hate it tons

without seeing results i was thinking.
Good flop For AQ AK and hes betsize looks that he hit this flop or is good shape with AK AQ. Best is to fold.
If u call and he bets 41225 ..what seems weak now i put him on JQ,T,AQ AK. Good hand would bet more to protect gazillion draws out there.
Anways i expect him to check call river instead jam. He should realize if u drawing flush u hit that river or u have TJ and valuebet would be 2 light on river.
Jam is weird as he played hand. Now i put him on AK AQ.

Never give up.
