actually the only one who has countered my mothership rush is incontrol and its because i wasnt paying attention and he built a pylon in my main and warped units on a bad map to go mothership rush in the first place. otherwise i make too many cannons + sentry for you to do anything off 2 gates at front

i have never lost a game when i had one i don't think.

im kinda reluctant to release replays in the event that some tournnament comes up in the future, i know it's a beta and that's gay but it seems kinda silly to release a bunch of replays when i might be in a situation to win money/fame.

Finally got around to downloading the client to watch replays and streams seriously don't do this game justice it looks fucking amazing

and ya i'm not too comfortable releasing reps either... so many people are doing it already anyway

Why would you guys be comfortable releasing reps, what with all the thousands of people who are gonna see them and then they learn how to play, they know how to make it too, right? So you get more competition in your SC2 pro gaming career that could have been avoided by not releasing your replays. Its comparable to cts and when he started to explain 4betting.

i haven't tried ultra, i have a pretty baller laptop that im sure can run whatever i want it to run but i just started out on lowest because i read something about big battles/maxed out armies lagging most pcs.

it's not about that-- it's about in a tournament someone seeing my tendencies and what im comfortable with.

it's like someone having a 100k hand database on you and being able to analyze everything you do while you think they are an unknown.

Sounds like something that happened recently in poker.

SC2 looks like it's gonna play like war3. i've played war3 when it came out for around 3 months then got back to playing SC. it wasn't as fun as SC.

hope i'm wrong with SC2.

Its only gonna "look" like wc3 graphically, and maybe have some of the updated rallying/grouping type controls.

But the reason wc3 isnt popular is its full of gay shit, like heros, items, creeps and wild imabalances that have slowly killed the game off due to Blizzard not bothering with it.

Graphically its no problem. But like most competitive FPS, people just crank every texture quality / model detail / player detail etc to minimum / off, Id imagine most people will do this in SC2, or start creating more simpler maps with less obstructive stuff.

The game looks alright on my comp, not fantastic but that might be because my card is a DX9 card. (it still runs smoothly). I don't think SC2 will be like War3 cause heros and creeps and items were just lol gay.

Do I have to have the beta to watch replays or can I just download the client?
