btw has anyone a number how many invites are out atm? heard there are like ~3-4k players online usually. so 10k invites overall?

if they use a standart beta plan the next or the wave after the next should be quite big. maybe even a 5% chance to get a key? well if anything it should drop the prices on the sells quite a bit ~

major problem with war vs say bw is the units take frames to change positions. i don't know if that's the case in sc2.

lol i think that's what 90% of the ppl playing are thinking

and yeah, by watching the reps, i see units all clunky and shit sometimes, very much like w3. explosions and effects during skirmishes at close range also cloud the visibility like war3 and its def not the same experience as sc. i feel after 3months or so ppl who love bw will go back to it still and play this thing like some graphic version fetish.

it also feels closer to wc3 because of the fact that ppl seem to have one big pack of unit in 1 group similar to wc3

pvz,tvz,mirrors etc was 1huge opack moving ever since.


with no lurkling and less melee overall the position plays etc are rare now, but the 1group thing is pretty normal.

So far I'd have to agree somewhat. I dislike much of the direction blizzard has gone in with regards to RTS gaming. They started to implement hard counters to units that was fairly absent in SC/BW.

WC3 has gone to shit, everyone will switch once it releases.
