Sitting at the airport in philly right now waiting for my flight back home to stockholm. I dont have alot of batteries so ill keep it breif. Vegas was a fail in terms of poker. I also degened it up alot more than I was planning to playing alot of blackjack roulette and baccarat. Fortunately I won enough in omahaflips against pinball to cover my -ev game losses. Overall I had a great time in vegas, it was great meeting everyone(to lazy to list everyone, you guys know who you are yo) and partying and eating great food etc.
Just found out that I got into medschool so I have like another month of freedom left before hell is unleached upon me. I have mixed feeling about this. I really really wanted to get in so I am very happy, but at the same time living with poker players was sick fun and I was aiming at setting up a pokerhouse somewhere nice if I didnt get in to school. owell, its all good. Its going to be great to get back home to sweden and just chill for a while, no drinking no vicious spending and no desert.

Congrats on medical school man! I'm studying to try to potentially get into med school myself, but it's so sick tough, and I think it's a pipe dream tbh, sadly.
Who cares about poker, you're going to be a freaking doctor!! Study hard, I know it'll be tough as a mother, but I'm sure you'll be fine. I wish you the best Saki. GL

Congrats on med school! That's super sick man. I hear the mixed feelings though. I am planning to go back to school next year but there's a part of me that doesn't want to at all, hehe. I also feel like we won't see much of you once you get started in med school cause that shit is grueling. So that's sad for us =(

Congratulations on med school. It's not as hard as it's made out to be, the hardest thing is getting in. It's basically just memorizing long lists of shit. My biggest tip for medschool: Approach stuff in a logical manner. It will greatly reduce the quantities of information you need to remember, as you can deduce answers on the spot (rather than relying on factual recall). It's very easy to get trapped and bogged down in way too much details. |
