Warning: Buying PT3 from People

Backstory: I ended up buying PT3 off of a new person on here, figured that if I could get it registered, I'd have no problem. Like PAHUD, as long as it's registered in 2 locations no matter who did it, it will work until its removed.

PT3 is not the case, they can flag your registration even after you have used a working code.

So, like Paypal Transfers, if you were to buy PT3 from someone(Not targeting affiliate like LP, its P2P transfers), make sure you can trust em.

Yeah, no clue if he sold multiple times, PT says my code has been flagged.

I agree, just ban it all together. Getting to 1K posts to sell it will only delay someone getting scammed because they could just easily run up 1K posts over a short period of time. Most people that buy PT3 or HEM should know what they have bought and probably used the trail to evaluate before buying.

Same thing happened to me, I got it off of some dude named Dkent001. Surprisingly, PT3 still works so far, but I get that above message every time I start it up. I have no idea how long PT3 will continue working for me, so it looks like I may be out of $50. I should of known better, but a couple weeks after I shipped him the 50 for the PT3 code, he made a blog post about how he was selling his "friend's" PT3 code as well, lol.

Just ban the selling of it altogether. Assigning some arbitrary post count requirement is kind of retarded. I've been on here since July 06 but only have ~230 posts according to the post count rules I may be setting up the most elaborate scam in history for the worst pay off ever.

If you Google for poker tracker, their auto suggest includes hundreds of thousands of results for "poker tracker torrent" and "poker tracker crack." I haven't read the licensing agreement, but if PT is like any other piece of software, transferring your license is not allowed. If you're willing to infringe their copyright and not pay the developers, why spend $50 rather than $0? The only thing I can think of is that the cracks don't actually work, heh.

let's say you buy 10 versions of PT3
$89 x 10 = $890
$50 x 10 / chance you get scammed = $890 (less than or equal)
chance you get scammed = 50/89 = 56.18%

So if you think you chances of getting scammed is less than 56.18% you should go for it obv

QFMFT !!! I didn't get PT3 at all since I read some topic back than that HEM was better when I grinded up some money and wanted to upgrade from my cracked PT2 and HEM hasn't disappointed me one single bit.

I know Dino both IRL and on BW. I met him at the WCG USA Open in like 2006 I think it was. He showed up just to watch and ended up hanging out with us for dinner. He seemed nice and was basically kissing everyones ass, even mine though I wasn't there as a player, just a reporter. When I got home I let him join my BW team and he seemed like he would be a good member for about a week and then he turned douchey and got kicked out. Haven't seen him since. I think froz, mnm, smaq, or any of those other cali kids probably would know how to get in touch with him.
