Pretty sure it's based off your rating as opposed to your actual %, sorry to burst your bubble. Everybody I've ever known on hotornot is like 8+.

EDIT: What this means is 80% = 8-8.5. It scales to your rating. If you were a 9 it'd say 90%, if it were 7 it'd be 70%

no theres a fucking stat that tells u ur % as compared to other guys, its lower than ur rating

it's always your rating minus 1%. if you're 9.5 it says you're hotter than 94% of people, totally automatic.

like freak said, everyone has a high rating on the site. i had 9.8 for the first 250 votes, and i'm not brad pitt.
