I usually just think people are whining for no reasons when they whine about poker, butI think in your case it's different, I do believe you are pretty unlucky since your big downswing and I really hope it turns around because i think you are a very good player and you've been putting a lot of time playing. |

if you add tons of macro options and units and keep the old obligations like sending scvs to mine, pros will just focus less on micro which sucks imo -Floofy

^^^^ I actually think that, but anyway, give stars a try maybe? The least it could do it give you a fresh start, and that seems to be what you need right now. |

Variance can suck. Play Omaha for a while at least then when you hit a cooler you still have a 40% chance to win <3. |

Dunno what to say, I feel you. Maybe have in mind that working on ur game will eventually bring the results and that luck evens out over large samples of hands. Best of luck to u.
And btw maybe get someone to sweat you. I have looked at the hands you posted and eventhough I didnt fidn any mistakes in those hands, all pretty standard, I have such a feeling u are getting it in too light and possibly ur semibluffs/bluff are getting too little respect and thus too little fold equity, which might be a reason for some unecessary losses. I mean thats just a hint for u on what to possibly look for, I might be completely wrong, thats just a feeling I got after going through ur hands. |

I think FTP hands out a way over proportioned number of badbeats too. weird how so many feel that way. maybe its the avatars tilting us.

its also hard to notice bad play in a turnmoil of life tilt, its very likely if not certain that when we have that kind of sick runs myself included its because our edge is not as big as it "should" be so deviations are bigger.
Im not saying our not running awful but a bigger edge would mean smaller variance minimizing losses and maximizing profit from other hands, for example i think this month i ran very very poorly and i still ran at 5.5ptbb/100 on 400nl, but thats because i am confident now that my game really crushes 400nl.
This is obv not a brag im telling you this because when i ran bad i didnt realize how bad i sucked until now i reailze i were just donking it off and in a future i will probably see how big of a donk i am today so i think this is a good time to really analize your game. |

QFT
but i know for sure your play deteriorates after such a long time of running bad. if you're running bad for more than 100k hands i think almost anyone would start playing worse. I know i did for sure during my 150k hand downswing. usually what makes the downswings worse is when you run bad and play bad anyway. those 2 things compound each other and you get raped.
That said do anything you can to vent your frustrations etc cuz you're in for a longass grind. I know for sure you're a good player and very capable of beating the current stakes and above.
Keep yo head up a few thousand here and there ain't nuthin to a boss yo |

baal theres a difference between capaneo and sakisaki. capaneo just asks for the swings he gets... and also saki has been winning at higher stakes in the past so...
saki had 90k at one point and now he has to be staked and cant even profit at stakes he crushed... thats a lot more hardcore than your 100k hands break even stretch can be. |

Well saki crushed Nl600 on Partypoker in the past ( 5/10 doesnt really count since he never was a longterm winner at 5/10)
Now he is breakeven at NL400 FullTilt
Impossible ?
BTW : Is he really on a stake ?
didnt he have like 20-30 K $ left in his account from that former 90K |

U see what i did there with A8 ? He 4 bets and there we go insta jam A8 : ---booooom -- . hahahaha ( Krantz)

Yo saki, I this is what I would probably do if I was in your spot:
Drop down to NL100, play there till u win at least 30 buyins there, make 1 video. Then move up to NL200 and repeat the process. Then move back up to NL400. This way it will get even more likely for you to win, since your edge will be way bigger in the lower games. Also, you will get comments on your game from multiple people who will watch the video (+ help out the lower stakes players). Also, you will get back into winning state of mind, which is very important for success in poker.
I know you know all this, so drop your pride and just do what might help. |

Ya i like doing this sometimes too.. I've been running bad at 400nl as well so the other day i dropped down to 50nl, played 35/32, ran bad and still made 6ptbb/100 which made me feel better, even tho it was only $200. |

Are you serious? Isn't that a pretty huge winrate over decent samples anyway? I guess you've played for a shitload longer then me but I still find this pretty strange.
Anyway, as long as you're breaking even despite all the shit that happends I'm pretty sure you'll get back in to it sooner or later. |
