so i'm wondering how datamining is even possible. i'm sure it's been discussed before, so maybe somebody can describe the process, or link to a thread that does?

Haha! I am really surprised that the biggest winners only make $14k. Especialy guys playing 40k hands a month I would expect more profit from.

Apparently the consensus is that approximately 1/3 of the hands are missing, but yeah.

MT UR WALLET is a horrible shortstacker. or, at least, he goes on sick tilt really easily. at some point he open raised the btn to 12, sitting on like $74, and i 3bet in the small blind to 40, and he insta 4bet shoved over with KJo...

is this actually anything close to all the hands though? OP why dont u compare that datamine sample to the number of hands you played this month by checking in your own pt database to try to estimate roughly what % of hands are missing from the datamine sample

There are about 25 full 2/4 sh games running around 120 hands an hour. There are about 720 hours in a month.

720*25*120 = ~2.2 mil.

ah, so looks like this datamine has roughly only half the hands played, the real results could be way off from this.
