yeah
PA vs durrr
2.5 million on the table
sounds super boring
doesn't matter who is playing or for what stakes, there is almost no entertainment value in watching preflop folds and then getting to watch the dealer shuffle
I think they could easily edit out the actual card shuffling and dealing of cards.
Maybe a good feature would be devote the bottom of the screen to a "previous hands" history, where they show action and cards dealt to each player just so you see how they've been playing recently.
Who knows what information this could show, I think at least it could show each players hole cards, who the winner was, and what the size of the pot was.
We could do that show. The problem is, nobody would watch it, and if nobody would watch it, we don't get money, and if we don't get money, we don't get to pay tom and patrick to play for us.

It's a ratings bias. They can't possibly put a "hand history" on the screen when half the audience probably doesn't even understand Omaha.
Look at the Rail Heaven forum. The only hands that get posted are the huge ones, usually all in pots. It's not entertaining and the only reason people in this thread want to see it is because they already have a raging hard on for these two players.
Durrrr and Antonius are not nearly as known outside of the Poker community as many top poker pros. People will not tune in to watch two "unknowns" play inconsequential pots.

You obviously suck at HU if all you do is fold.
you get that he is talking about hands they didnt show?

eh I suppose everyone has different taste - to 90%+ of the general public they would find it boring, I'd love to see every single hand they played, if they had it on DvD an unedited version where they show 20h of straight footage, i'd be ALLL OVER THAT

fyp
and they played speed poker, 2 dealers, no time wasted with shuffling
Browsing through your hand histories makes me wonder that you might not be aware these games are possibly play money. Have you ever tried to cash out? - Kapol

Meh I just love HU. I'd say watching CR and DC vids of HU matches are probably THE most entertaining for me. Most everyone is playing around a 40vpip game so I dont see how he says they are folding constantly, unless he's just talking about watching a live HU game where he literally means waiting for the dealer to shuffle is boring lol. Otherwise hell yes watching a dvd vid of the aussie millions would be super sweet.

this week was gay, just a filler for next week with the return of DURRRRRR
