MUH MAN LOSTACCOUNT!
How do you find this stuff?
Do you know that it is all lies?
You don't need any of this stuff. You will be a perfect, satisfied man... The Wise Man without it. Although that takes perfect self-conscioussness and perfect morality and being a citizen of the universal.
The problem with being a Christian is that you have to be Christ. Being The Wise Man is superior because it is sort of possible.
No guilt now just love curb, love ya that’s why ur unban lol like everyone else

Where can one even find legitimate Jesus blood?

How the tides have turned. There was a time I made $1,000/hr and would not roll out of bed for less. If I did not know poker was so so so fucked right now I might give it a shot. To just compare it to what I am doing now I would jump at $20/hr playing poker but that could just be a grass is greener thing. I think there is a lot of truth to the statement "Poker is way too draining for $20/hr." That's a living wage (maybe) but you don't want to be a broke gambler. For example, if I gave poker a good try and made $20/hr over 20 hours in a week that's only $20,800/yr. Living in my parent's home grinding whatever for $20,000 in a year would be sad and pathetic. Grinding poker for 40+ hours a week is also terrible. What in the fuck in the world can I do with my time and effort to carve out some semblance of a life?
you are supposed to be so anti-capitalist, but you also have very right wing/capitalistic view of whats pathetic.

That is an astute observation. I was raised in capitalism and a staunch capitalist in my younger days. I guess some of that has stuck with me. With that said making $20k / yr in my parent's basement is pathetic and sad. Grinding poker sucks. Only making $20k / yr also sucks. It would arouse pity and be a sad situation. Don't know what else to say. Most leftists I know realize how much it sucks to be broke. It is something to comiserate over and bond over. If you are going to be a parasite and play poker better to do it big and have some freedom. It's just sort of a fact that you have to be more successful than normies too. What if I lived in my parent's basement and made $200k / yr? Dressed like a homeless person and didn't have a car. Actually nix the dress like a homeless person and don't have a car because I would pull that off if I could. Living with parents is not good. What I was trying to say though is the Accountant making $50k / yr and driving a Toyota Camry the gambler has to one up that by some margin in today's society. Or how society views it. That is not to say someone should give in to peer pressure. The opposite is kind of gaudy. All black Prada with bottle service down at Hakkasan. The one or two buy-in watch which is probably a Breitling or a Tag Heuer or maybe a Rolex. I was playing to capitalist rules then in my own sort of way but I was winning son. Sometimes it was annoying to deal with jealous people or questioning people. You learn you don't have to answer anything. The fact that I was flying to an Island in the Mediterranean to live in a castle on the beach the next month shuts people up.
If CurbStomp2 for example wanted to grind out $40k / yr at whatever stakes I would probably commend it. Maybe not. Maybe it is pathetic that you basically just eek it out on govt. money and grind vidya and tendies. I have pity for your situation and I do find it sad. I've been there for periods of time and know that it can be tough. I don't think I really urge you to do anything else. Working sucks. It really does.
I understand that you need to submit to capitalism with your body and your time. But I'm just pointing out that they got your spirit too. A true revolutionary would hold on to it.

I am not much of a revolutionary despite the garbled rhetoric in my past.
this is why u 2 were banned before bunch of non sense. I’m anti capital too cause there are enough in this world if we learn to share but the world is asleep
Let the world sleep for when she wakes up then she will be in paradise
Most people really just need 3-4k a month to live good
Too many retards think u need a lot of money to have a good life.
Rent/food/car/friends/family/books/utube/vacations
I guess if u have kids it’s a bit more
I don’t know how billionaires slept knowing there are people out there struggling.
I’m an idealist clearly but they are stuck in the matrix.
People just need to wake up to this matrix n realize the real wealth is to get out of the matrix. Aka graduate from the school of earth n be an earthling c everyone as one family

$40k / yr is probably bare minimum to live good but probably not anymore because of inflation and it depends where you live. I only get by on $40k because I live with my parents. With medical bills and car stuff I might not even get by. There's no way $40k / yr covers the good life in Vancouver.
yea rikd, save as much as you can then have 20k n live in se asian for 1k a month then when money is gone go back to getting a crap job for awhile rinse n repeat
I guess I save a lot of money by cooking myself a lot. 40k in western is bare minimum if u don’t cook urself

I don't know what job I am getting to be capable of saving $20k...
or how to get jobs capable of saving $20k with constant gaps in resume...
I don't think SE Asia is for me. I love the food but I just don't want to be THAT guy...
How much money are you actually saving by cooking yourself?
I mean maybe if you are cooking up 5 day batches of really cheap stuff...
There is time to consider too. There is also health. Eating McDonald's is probably cheaper than eating a soup from Sardegnia (debatable) but health is important and time is important.

I make $40k / yr and live with my parents and saving $400-500 / yr would be a stretch. Like, it seems like I could do that now but I have impending medical bills / car bills that could wipe that out.
Have you done any math on living in SE Asia for 2 years on $20k? That seems far fetched.
The problem is the resume gaps of grinding 3 years and 2 years chillin'. I mean it's easily explained and I could be wrong. I would think someone that did that to be smart but I think most cogs in a wheel would not like it.
I would need insurance. I see a psychiatrist / therapist and have 7 medications.

Most of my meals end up being $15-20 but I am eating fast food. It's not ideal but I am not one to cook up big batches of stuff and eat it for 5 days or even prepare meals every day and bring them into work.

Americans are pretty funny when they are complaining about cost of living while eating out everyday and needing some fucking 40k car. why can't you just buy some $1000 piece of shit and drive that and cook meals for 3$ a meal? Better yet, use public transport. Also why not get a room in a shared apartment? I'd much rather do that than live with my parents. I did an excel sheet and save all my receipts and put all my expenses there. I get 16k a year from disability and I think I could save $4k a year. Yeah medical bills probably suck but I doubt they add up to so much that 40k a year is not livable. I even refuse to buy coffee for 1,80€ at school so I bring my own. Point being you could cut expenses if you wanted to, but I guess in America that makes you a loser.

I drive an 11 year old car with 180,000 miles with the check engine light on, no AC, and 1 headlight.
What are you cooking for $3 / meal?
There is no public transport.
Having roomates suck but you are right living in a shared apartment is probably better than living with parents. Not in all cases but as a general rule yes.
I went to the doctor the other week. Blood work was $95. He wanted to do a sleep study so I can get a CPAP machine. It was $350 and I am unsure if it even worked. They haven't gotten back to me. I don't know if they'll have to charge me another $350. Who knows how much the CPAP machine costs....................
Last time I went to the liver doctor they wanted to do some scan. It was like $2,500 and I just told them NOPE and peaced out. Therapy is like $40 / session which isn't bad. Psychiatrist is like something ridiculous because I only see him for 10 min. Going to the psych ward is expensive. Medications are expensive. All this stuff adds up just as car bills add up. I mean replacing catalytic converters is $2k+ and I didn't even know what a catalytic converter was.
There is also a difference between pathetic and loser. Although maybe sometimes there is not. Sitting in my parent's basement making $20k / yr off of poker is pathetic and loser'ish. I don't think people with mental health issues are losers. I have considered going on disability a lot lately. But, the idea of being out and not being able to order a coffee if I want one kind of sucks. I told my therapist if I went on disability I would read a lot and walk a lot (and spend too much time on the internet). She was like, "That is a LOT of reading and walking. You are too damn smart to be on disability." My use of pathetic and loser isn't just used towards the lower class by the way. Vast swaths of middle and upper class are pathetic and losers. Probably more. What is it that Jesus said? It is easier to thread a camel through a needle than for most of these rich pathetic fucks have a shot at the Kingdom of Heaven? Something like that. In conclusion, I don't think you are a loser but it kind of sucks to not be able to buy a bottle of water when thirsty because it will break the budget.

Rice, broccoli with Kassler is like 2,45 a meal. You'll lose some weight too. spaghetti bolognese is probably not much more expensive per meal especially if you use some vegan soy shit instead of minced meat.

RiKD   United States. Oct 09 2023 16:40. Posts 9276
Chicken, broccoli, and rice is bringing flashbacks to when I was cutting doing bodybuilding. *Shudder*
I like spaghetti not even with any meat but not for every meal.
I'm taking my mom out to lunch for some good food. It will probably cost $60. That is a luxury I would miss if I just went straight disability.
I have been using Butler soy curls (contains only one ingredient: whole dehydrated soy beans) a lot lately. I buy a box in bulk (12 lbs) and one typical serving for me is 75g (has 25g protein). Comes down to 1.7$ CAD per meal (1.25 USD). Combined with a cheap staple like rice/rice noodles and some sauerkraut, it's less than 3$ per meal. Oats + a protein powder bought on sale/in bulk from Costco and fruit is also a very cheap common breakfast.
The issue with RiKD is not that he can't find cheap foods, it's that he can't commit to eating them regularly. This is especially difficult when you have no goals you're working towards, and you live with your parents where there is an abundance of "rich" foods. To succeed at eating this way you have to be either forced by circumstances due to low income, or working towards a goal (health/fitness/budgeting etc).
fuck I should just sell some of my Pokemon cards, if no one stakes that is what I will have to do - lostaccount

pea soup is super cheap food too. 500g bag of dried peas is like 1 euro and then 400g of minced meat is 2,60 and some onion and mustard. thats probably a weeks worth of food. maybe gets a bit boring to eat that everyday though.

we have the most right wing government since 30s but they can't touch pensions due to old voters and disability is tied to the pensions.

I don't think I will actually go the disability trap route. As my therapist says I'm too damn smart to go on disability. Who knows what the job market entails though. I didn't exactly leave this company on good terms. I have no ill will towards anyone there but who knows who will resent me now. Quitting with not even a clue with what I want to do besides start an independent book store probably isn't prudent. It's what happened though.
