If you had pocket 3's, how would you play this river?

great question. I think I would be close between checking to induce a bluff because I found his turn call suspicious, or I would bet maybe slightly less than the pot size.

the problem with betting the river here is that really there isn't a lot of hands that make sense to call. perhaps he floated with an ace high backdoor flush draw, or he has a pair (like top pair on flop) he doesn't want to drop on the turn. So if I did get value on the river the best way would probably be to just polarize a bit and make him question how often I might be bluffing.

but frankly given all the action here the hands that made the most sense to me going into the river were 45,57,78, or maybe a weirdly played set. and based on that it's overwhelmingly a check even with 33

I'm guessing he doesn't slowplay any ace2p, still 45 does hit but does it overbet jam for value here? I'm guessing it would probably just bet big, ofc player dependant. I have to say that is a pretty ballsy and good call. Grats
