It was clearly a tap due to strikes, thus it should be a submission win for Rose.
However, I've seen like 2 other people or so tap to strikes in the past 2 years, and they still ruled it a TKO win.
I don't know for sure, but I don't think they count "submission due to strikes" anymore as a submission. |

Should definitely be a submission win for Rose but it'll prob go down as TKO. Only saw the replay once but from what I saw, Joanna tapped and Rose immediately saw it and stopped
Pretty wild. I don't think JJ is ever going to be able to live this down after being such a domineering bully at all times and then tapping to strikes as champion. And I say that as being someone who really really enjoyed her rise |
