Tony called him out on being fat and out of shape during one presscon and told him he hopes khabib "shows up" tsk tsk
Who's replacing him now? Card is fucked, but looking forward to Lando fight also

Weight cutting issues.
This has reached critical mass the UFC has to either change the way weight-ins work or create way more categories but I think the 2nd option would suck and is less economically viable, its time combat sports move away from weight cutting

As much as I want Khabib to win, I feel bad for Tony. He probably should get the title shot now vs Mcgregor.
This card also will not do that well now.
longple: ur missing the point! this is an attempt to get away from the bumhuntmentality!

Woodley
Overeem and Evans
Pedro
Its time to stop thinking like a bitch and think smart like a poker player - ket
i think this is a simple case of khabib dodging ferguson and being a fagget.
“Basically, his team had decided to take him to just some random hospital here in Las Vegas instead of picking up the phone and calling our doctor and calling Brianna [Mattison], who runs all the medicals,” White said. “They went rogue and went out and did their own thing. Had they done this thing the right way, the fight probably could have been saved.”

Why would a professional fighter dodge the biggest fight of his career for the belt and perhaps positioning him for one of the biggest fights ever in Moscow against McGregor, it doesnt make any sense.

Conor set the stage for these insane pressure cooker events for the UFC now that it's gotten sooo big in the US. Some dudes can't handle it and I'm starting to believe Conor is telling the truth when he says a lot of fighters dont show up come fight day.

just saying. khabib's team by not following the UFC's protocol concerning the medical condition of their fighter seems there's something fishy going on. i mean why did they go to a random doctor when there's a lot on the line? hiding PED use maybe? them dodging? dunno.. there must be something.
i cant take the whole thing at face value the way it went.

Uh maybe because he was extremely sick and dehydrated and his team worried for his health? Thinking the 24-0 professional fighter and dagastinian who wrestled a bear when he was like 8 years old is afraid of Ferguson is hilarious.
Ridiculous of Dana to have wanted Khabib to come to the UFC first when Khabib was in such bad shape the doctor ruled him unfit to fight. He wasn't simply unable to make weight, he was medically uncleared and the NSAC pulled his license.

i dont mean scared as in hes "scared" like a little bitch. its a tactical dodge because they know they dont have the advantage because maybe the weigh cutting was too much for kebab this time. who knows.. it has to be something. with so much on the line, why didnt they follow protocol and try to save fight?

My guess is with the interim title on the line Khabib put everything he had into making 155 pounds. Eventually he was in such horrible shape his team decided he needed to go to the hospital. I mean if the doctor declared him medically unfit to fight he must have been pretty bad. Once he was at that point there is no turning back. What would you have wanted him to do, decide he wasn't gonna make it and stop cutting 10 pounds out?
I highly doubt he avoided the fight on purpose. Pulling out probably sets him back more than a lose. Conor will never fight him now and claim Khabib is a pull out merchant. UFC probably has very little trust putting him in the Main/Co-main spot in fear of him fucking up a card again.
