- Ryan LaFlare was expected to face Alexander Yakovlev at the event. However, LaFlare was removed from the fight in early June after sustaining an undisclosed injury and replaced by The Ultimate Fighter: American Top Team vs. Blackzilians winner Kamaru Usman.
- Tony Martin was expected to face Michel Prazeres at the event. However, Martin pulled out on July 6 due to a neck injury and was replaced by promotional newcomer J.C. Cottrell.

Yesterday I bet on Shevchenko too, I think she has great value (+290) as the fight is going to be a stand up fight. Shevchenko is a muay thai champ and she beat Joanna J. 3 times, she represents my country (Perú) but thats not the reason I am betting on her I really think she has a good chance.

Agree with everyone that the odds on Schevchenko seem too wide. I do have trouble seeing how she's going to get inside on Holm but she hits way harder that's for sure.

still not convnced schev will beat holm. i think holm will be mega super uber motivated in this fight.
Holm is always motivated. Her mindset is never different from what I know of her later boxing career and MMA career.
If she Holm loses, it won't have anything to do with her not being focused or mentally weak.
I personally think that Shevchenko is the better overall striker, while Holm is the better pure boxer. Holm throws high kicks and side kicks once in awhile, but they will either miss or won't do much to Shevchenko. Shevchenko is also a good clinch fighter and can get the take down, while Holm sucks in the clinch (in boxing and in MMA) and has no skills on the ground.
Tate exposed some major holes in Holm's grappling. Shevchenko's grappling looked good against Kaufman and she dominated the 3rd round vs Nunes. She can def hang on the feet also, so there is some value on her. Most likely Holm wins boring decision.
Also very interested to see how Barboza deals with Melendez. I think it is a bad stylistic match up for him, but Gilbert looks so shot, that I don't know if it is a good idea betting on it. Anyways Barboza had some major problems with wrestlers in the past and also with guys that put the pressure on him and that is exactly what Melendez is known for.
