Knight vs. Alers was pretty fun to watch.

I have it 2-1 for Knight.

Haha yah Knight just a tough rugged Southern Boy with an endless gas tank.

That was pretty awesome.

No way would I bet -5.5 for Holm. I'd rather bet +5.5 on Shevchenko.

Why was Svhevchenko at 133? That can't be good news.

Shevchenko used to be a 125`er, and is the shorter fighter.

Her being 133 isn't good or bad, it's just normal.

holm ML at -161 now. feels like a trap?

All depends how much you like Holm.

Even at -110/-110, I'd feel uncomfortable betting Holm in this fight. Her decision line is +118, but I'd still pass on it.

Pepey's coach: don't pull guard any more..
Pepey in the 3rd round pulls guard twice

longple: ur missing the point! this is an attempt to get away from the bumhuntmentality!

Pepey gets back up, then pulls guard...

I didn't expect him to come in with a terrible game plan. He was content with pulling guard multiple times against a grinding fighter who has no issues winning via boring decision.

It was also Pepey's first fight outside of Brazil, but I don't know if that mattered much.

Ngannou vs D. Lewis please

Ngannou with the fast finish.

Now we gotta wait at least 25 minutes until the Barboza/Melendez fight.

Melendez won't walk for couple days at least. He must regret going for that double leg when Barboza was hurt. Barboza really went super safe on that third round.

Time for Gilbert to call it a day and go run his gym and coach his wife full-time.

He's 1-4 in the UFC, and hasn't improved in any area of MMA in several years.

He is still an entertaining fighter but hes far from a title shot now. That division is stacked. He looked kinda dumb not being able to go southpaw when his lead leg was fucked.

Holm has no solutions to offer.

Clear 4-1 for Shevchenko, imo.

How in the heck did you spot Shevchenko to win straight up? Pretty crazy imo.

Broke even in this even, won on Oliviera, Herrig and a bunch on barboza, lost on Pepey, Saenz on Holm

- I know how both Shevchenko and Holm fight.
- Shevchenko has fought 5 rounds multiple times in recent fights, so I knew it wouldn't be a problem.
- Holly is a low volume striker and has no power. Shevchenko throws a little more strikes per round and is WAY more skilled in overall striking, while Holm is just a pitter patter boxer with slow kicks (her kicks looked even slower tonight).
- Shevchenko is a black belt in Judo -- among other martial arts -- and took down Sarah Kaufman several times. Kaufman is well-known for her TDD.
- I expected Shevchenko to get more take downs and possibly win via late submission, but her coaches told her to stop wasting her energy on TDs and clinch, so she kept the fight in the middle.
- Holm almost lost a split-decision against Pennington, a brawler, in her UFC debut.
- If you ever watch Holm's boxing matches, you'll know she has no problem winning via points. She has no sense of urgency, which is bad if she can't land and is getting countered.
- Since Holm is an outside fighter, I assumed Shevchenko would have an easy time game planning for her. She wouldn't need to worry about take downs, and she didn't have to worry about submission attempts.

Amanda Nunes responded on Twitter that she thinks Shevchenko still needs to improve her skills before they rematch, and that she should fight Julianna Pena first.

Nunes clearly doesn't want a piece of Pena. She also knows Shevchenko will finish what she started in Round 3 of their first fight.
