I'm Python817 on stars and have been around here a long time but barely play poker anymore. Neillys owed me 2.5k for like 5 years now and hes blocked me from facebook/skype a while ago and I kinda just forgot about it. Since I see him post here every now and then I thought I'd leave this here. I've seen quite a few blog posts about him paying everyone back and even said in 1 of them I was the only one he hasn't payed. Guess he figured I don't know any of his friends or talk to many people in the poker community he didn't feel the need to pay me . Even tho I know a lot of you guys dont like him from what I've heard hes usually paid his debts eventually. So if any of you know him or if you see this neilly and decide to pay me back just ship it to python817 on stars thanks.

You're right neilly you didnt block me from skype my mistake but you did delete me from facebook after our last conversation about this on there. The last conversation we had over a year ago was you telling me you'll pay me back soon for the 10th time. I dont see any point of us talking since it'll just end in you saying the same thing if you need a reminder every few months here it is. Also when you keep saying I'm literally the last debt you have that doesnt really inspire much confidence since you said that over 2 years ago. Sorry python, it might seem ridiculous to chase and beg for your own money but that's the punishment for giving out a bad loan. It's not a coincidence that you are the last one Neilly owes. Others got paid because they wanted the money more than you did. You're gonna have to constantly remind who ever that owes you and hope that you get something little by little. Setting a a realistic payment plan is a working solution as well. If you're expecting the full 2.5k at once, you're better off writing it off.

If you think chasing your money is not worth your time, write it off. I've done it many many times. One thing this business taught me is that you never want to loan money to someone that really needs a loan.

yea unless the staking is to allow someone to play significantly higher such that the stakee's winrate after the backer gets his cut is decently higher than it would be had he be playing his normal games on his own it gets a little sketchy.

Its alright I understand and I've learned, when I gave neilly the money I didnt know any better. This isn't something I'm gonna lose sleep over so if neilly decides to pay me back even if its $10 at a time then great if not I thought people would like to know since he does come here a lot and I dont think talking on skype would get me anywhere anyways.

LP isn't changing the fact that I am paying off a debt that is in my books. I never ever tried to make him feel bad. Python and I go way back. This is from him putting me in some real highstakes shit when I was like microstakes player with a little MTT talent.

I like what Andrew said, this is the most logical way, ~250-$500 payments seem most logical.

I did most of my debt paying off while in Canada / Costa Rica on my poker trips, in the USA its been tougher to make that kinda $, I shoulda gotten that 2k sent to ya while I was up there, was sending $ to everyone..... (MTT Life paid good sometimes)

Its been tough to handle this stuff after quitting MTT's, but I have continued to chip away at the last of what I owe and will get you paid up bud. I think I'll be playing NL100+ again very soon, I'd look for first payment in July.

If it seemed I was angry, it was just because you put this on a public forum instead of coming to me about it which you haven't done in FOREVER. I can not remember the last time we talked. That felt quite personal when you could have taken a much better approach.

I'm thankful you took this approach though, because ANdrew chimes in and you will get paid faster in payments, so I assume thats the way we go. SKYPE me, we can hook up bank accounts etc there. I'll pay u as I can, probably around late june to mid july 1st payment.

The way this worked out was - He put me in high stakes tournaments, if I lost I pay back 50% of the buy-ins. After all was done, I owe him 2.5k, that was in like 2009 or something. Actually had it at 2k in my books, didn't think it was 2.5, but w/e.

Mate, you have serious issues. Read your first sentence, and then re-read it, and once you've done that, re-read it again.

Neilly, I've always felt sorry for you, because you've been on a constant struggle for 10 years. But you're coming off as an asshole now. Can you really imagine doing this for another 40 years? I'd recommend you to get some real life experience. You obviously have stamina and are eager/stubborn to learn, so I'm more than sure that you'll be able to succeed in other areas.

I did get carried away believing I was better than I was in 2009 and got about 50k in the hole. Its taken a long time paying that off.

During 2010-2015 I did use 50%+ of my profits to pay debts, and lived on under 50% (25%/25% / 50% to staker)
(while usually staked - so this was a lot of my net worth)


I talked to him about it. Things are being worked out, its no rush, (which i don't understand why he posts on forum if its no rush), but its fine - won't take long to pay that.
