I always try not to but idk if it really matters too much or not

Nah, especially when it's only $300 left over. $300 is nothing in NBA, and I do it in UFC and NHL fantasy, where we have less money to spend.

i think it depends on the size of the slate and how confident you are in your projections. like on a 4-game slate you might have a lot more limited playable options at each price-point so it could make sense to leave some $ on the table.

personally $300 is on the high side of what i would generally want to leave but it happens once in a while. i'm still trying to figure out the whole DFS thing tho so who knows. if i had to guess i'd say what i've left on the table this year in terms of entries is something like:

$0 - 40%
$100 - 40%
$200 - 15%
$300 - 4.5-5%
>$300 - <0.5%

(only talking cash games)

Brutal NFL week. Julio/Hopkins on every single team, and I don't really understand how anyone could go OBJ over either, total fish play that gives up ~2-3 points of equity immediately but worked out. Basically if you went julio+hopkins, you needed to go perfect other chalk to win (bortles, ware, rawls, stevie, reed, bengals). any team with another choice likely lost

All three of them have been killing it lately. Funny that they all fizzle out on the same night. Still have another half to go, but still.

not too worried about Harden, he should get his as long as the game stays close. not the greatest numbers from Dudley/Beal/76ers guys (Canaan ended up being ok thanks to semi-garbage time), but you get some guys who don't quite meet value most nights, it's just how the NBA is. nothing too bad so far, just need to fade PG/Griffin owners in the late game to hang on.

kinda sucks Suns/Pistons just went into OT and i dont have anyone from that game though -.-

PG put some hurt on me, went from ~80% ROI to 25% in the last 4 minutes of the 4th. can't complain all things considered i guess.

i think a lot of people will be off Lowry with flu reports and b2b games. much prefer Booker over Lauvergne with Gobert being out, but $300 discount on Lauvergne just makes everything fit. feels like a bit of a crapshoot where Faried's usage will fall but hoping Joffrey gets his share.

Just noticed Casspi wasn't gaining any points, so I clicked his name and noticed he is "Out." Must've been a late decision. So I'm basically playing with a 7-man team.

i only play on FD now so i stopped monitoring injury news after first game's tip off, but since you're on DK you know you can do late-swaps right?

edit - quick glance at twitter shows the news came out ~3 hours ago.

tonight felt like a weird night to me but my lineup did great, in 1st place in almost all my 50/50s and 2nd in the rest, too bad 1st and 50th pay the same. might not even 3x from Boogie lol.

Is there one social media spot where I can check who is Out for all of the teams who will be playing tonight?

I know DK usually shows who is "out" via their app, but I didn't see the red "O" next to Casspi's name yesterday (he might not have been pulled until after I checked). It showed the red "O" after I clicked his name on the DK website on my computer.

Basketball Monster is the best aggregator i'm aware of to follow on twitter for injury/lineup news, there's a few others too like Rotoworld Basketball. ideally you can follow beat writers for each team but the aggregators seem to be pretty fast lately. for static website you might try http://www.rotoworld.com/teams/injuries/nba/all/ not sure how fast they update though.

was winning everything easily most of the night...lebron has a big 4th quarter, standard and expected...then he just shits over the entire city of new orleans and game goes into overtime on top. still won some of the entries but finished negative ~40% roi for the night.

I almost picked LeBron, but then went with Love, then got rid of Love.

2 of my teams did well most of the night, but none of them had multiple people with spectacular nights, so I ended up with an average of everyone getting 30 points each, which isn't enough in the end.

Gonna take a break from all fantasy events until this Thursday since I have finals this coming week, and UFC will take up my time with those 3 cards back-to-back.

yeah, even early in the night i felt like i made mistakes w/my lineup but was just going to end up running good and cashing anyway. probably should've had Capela/Jones with Howard out. and Lebron.
