I don't buy it either. 25 minutes ago he was positive he was going to be number one in the world, that kind of sensation doesn't go away overnight. Surely he will be fighting. Leaving UFC now would mean he ends his career on Jon Jones terms and it will bug him for the rest of his life. He will fight for sure, if nothing else then to end it on his own terms.

I made $16.50 in* combined DraftKing events, but made nothing in the Kountermove events. The 1st place finisher in the $25k guaranteed on DraftKings will be split ($2k) between 6 people. This is why I, and many others, said that DraftKing's current method of pricing the fighters is bad, especially since they didn't include the fights on Fight Pass.

I gave Jones rounds 1 and 3, so I would've had Jones winning a 3-round fight.
$96 profit after Jones got the decision win. Would've been a sick night if the referee did his job in the Reneau/Dufresne fight and stopped it after the second round, or stopped it in the 3rd when the clock was getting low and he just let the fight finish with her eating punches; I would've cashed a +1215 prop.
Like I said before, I wouldn't be surprised if Cormier retires after this fight. I think Castillo will retire soon, cuz he wasn't in the top 15 prior to today, and he lost to a guy outside the top 25, and he has his own gym or pilates place where he makes money.
How could Cormier possibly retire he's never been seriously injured or hurt and is going to earn more money with every next fight. Maybe in an ideal world where everything is about athletic accomplishment I could see it happening.
Well, DC retiring isn't something I'd bet money on, but it's just a guess. He'll be 36 in 2.5 months from now, he had a relatively easy road to fight Jones imo, and he said multiple things that made me think he won't want to stick around after losing to Jones, which is why I said before the fight that if Cormier loses and it's not close, he will retire. I thought Cormier looked good in certain parts of the fight, but he couldn't take Jones down (his main weapon) and the fight wasn't close enough to warrant an immediate rematch.

just curious what ppl think about how it all started. seemed like dc was beating his ass and bloody'ed up his face. dc gassed and it was over from there on out. jones sniped enough damage and activity to lean on him and run out the clock. plenty of fighters do the same thing so its ok. just sucks

It was closer that i expected but JJ just made fun of DC's wrestling.
