Well considering LoL is based off Dota there is no surprises there in your statement. Each to their own. I prefer Dota because it is much more immersive and complex than LoL. The graphics, the sounds and the gameplay all add up to a great experience for me, where LoL doesnt do that for me. Each to their own. I am sure anyone here could write an essay on the differences and countless people have in the past.

Original creators of DotA left it to Icefrog and created LoL. I haven't played Dota 2 tbh, but i've played tons of the wc3 one and I could say both games are very different, although they're both MOBA. You cant really say which one is more complex, since there are different factors, its like playing NLHE and PLHE tbh

do u think the team would've done better with Excalibur?

Given how things have been going in TI4 so far, it's hard to say, so many teams that are expected to stomp are getting stomped, and vice versa. But I have little love for Excalibur though. He's too inexperienced and makes a lot crucial mistakes mid to lategame. Plus, it seems he has little leeway outside of the handful of heroes he can play. Era is way better for fnatic imo.

damn, crazy stuff. rooting pretty hard for fnatic and era. gogo hontrash.

but honestly lets be real, if fnatic ever wanna be serious about winning, n0tail has to play mid.

TobiWan needs to get checked for anxiety issues afaik, he gets annoying when one team pulls ahead by much.
I like fnatic especially Toenail and H4nni. Rooting for lots of teams/players. Such a spectator friendly event aswell, nice to be able to spec ingame and switch between games & casters. Also drewamleague, compendium etc make it more fun for lots of people i guess.

Some sweet games. Skywrath is fun to watch.

TI4 prizepool is solid and some group stage games are sick, however i would not watch the whole 100+ games..., maybe somebody could point out the most interesting ones? I'll go ahead and say NaVi.ua vs Teamliquid is a must watch.
BTW http://wiki.teamliquid.net/dota2/The_International/2014/Playoffs/Phase_Twohere is the best online overview of whats going on at the moment.

ive watched all fnatic games and a few others
from the ones i watched best one so far was fnatic vs. mouz
and the most impressive performance by a player was VG fy earthshaker vs.
fnatic, especially considerering it wasn't a snowball solo mid shaker like qojqva vs. fnatic
it's easy to perform well when you are snowballing, but fy played godly sup shaker

both games are free, but in Dota you can pick any hero in the game since your first match. in LoL you need to grind or buy the heroes you can pick.

in LoL there is also a rune and talent system that benefects people as they level up their account. there isn't anything like that in Dota.

I prefer Dota due to the graphics and gameplay. I found Dota to be so much better... its personal taste I guess.

about the complexity of LoL, I remember I had the impression that Dota was more complex, but I don't even remember why, so I can't give an opinion on that...

i think liquid was sandbagging against mouz because they want to avoid LGD and newbee, either that or just didn't care
