Personally I think this is a very low penalty, his rights should have been taken for at least 1 year. Its the 3rd time past year he did something like that, what a prick

It is. In a three-way tie with equal points the match between two teams is the first thing they look at.

Dude has legit issues... you can sorta tell he doesn't decide consciously to do it, it's like he sees red and just goes into animal mode for no reason. Probably got molested or something. Not making excuses, just sayin.

I prefer GD being first, it allows more teams to have chances in the final game.

Its not. Head to head results is the third tie-breaker behind total goals scored.

What IS stupid is the fourth tiebreaker which may literally be a coinflip. It actually almost happened to Nigeria and Iran.

Its highly unlikely that it would come to that, however they could have just put something like "team with less cards " instead... if it comes to that tiebreaker though both teams are probably weak anyway, so it wouldn't matter to the viewers imo
