lol regardless of whether I like someone or not, people who are fat give me the distinct impression that they don't care for their own well-being. It reflects on themselves.

I did not see his original post nor do I know Tutz in any manner but I do appreciate that having discipline to do any sort of exercise, whether it be like going for a mile run, jog, or even walk, should be a priority for some people. Our bodies are such fragile things and it should be of some importance to try and preserve the small amount of time we have. You don't have to have huge muscles, be a model like tutz and his girl, but simple exercise is very achievable by most people and it's a shame that people do not take more advantage of the time they could spend doing like a 10-20 minute exercise routine.

its mind boggling that a model would be concerned with physical appearance

i think the majority of fat people wish they were not fat but do not have the willpower and discipline to exercise and eat right - it is just easier to keep doing what they are doing.

there is probably a correlation between self esteem and obesity - i would bet that the majority of over weight or fat people probably have lower than average self esteem and worth.

i like tutz - but i think it would be funny for a photoshop of a fat tutz

Chris, don't you think that some fat people reach excellency in many domains ? It would contradict your theory about discipline and willpower ?

i think the correlation is not as important since self esteem and obesity are results of something else (trauma or gene pool), which is influenced by environment and gene pool. If your environment is fat food, big quantities, "addictive" food (sugar/salt addictions): that can cause high level of obesity. i think the correlation between american "food" environment (economically, america depends on "fattening" products, and fast food restaurants) and high level of obesity, is much more important.

Self esteem is usually the result of another action. Majority of people have self esteem issues, and IMO is part of development of our "own" individual character. I don't know one person, succeffull or not, who hasn't have/had self esteem issues. Everyone deals with them differently, but if your environment is a heavy exposure any "drug", be it fast food, alcohol, opium or whatever, majority of people with some sort of self esteem problem will have high probability of turning towards that drug to "band-aid" the pain due to self esteem issue.
Eating food compulsively is no different then playing video games compulsively or working compulsively, since IMO they can all be self destructive behavior.

i also don't see the correlation between net worth and "self destructive" behavior, since i can say also that : i would bet that the majority of cokeheads probably have lower than average self esteem and higherworth.

just adding to your post chris, not trying to shoot it down.

As a person who has lost over 100 pounds I know what it is to be fat and less fat.

I believe one of the main contributing factors of me being obese all my life is my upbringing.

I grew up
A) Poor
B) Without any functioning parents ( one absent , one alcoholic)

While there were a few people that helped me adolescents, I essentially had to grow up myself.

Food wasn't exactly easy to get and the most unhealthy food is the cheapest.

I grew up with no discipline/ no one to tell me what to do, what not to eat
That coupled with an addictive personality genetically makes that sweet sweet sugar so much sweeter.

Eventually I got to the point where I was fatter than loveable las vegas comedian staple Louie Anderson. We took a picture together and when I was bigger than him , I knew I had to change.

IT wasn't until then that I even felt motivated at all to change.

My mentality was that of Independence. I remember thinking these gym jockeys were wasting their lives/hours working towards something as insignificatn as beauty when there are so many more valuable things in life
1. treating others well,
2. living for the moment
3. taking care of your bussiness

Those were my priorities but eventaully I started getting lonely
And all the girls I hung out with passed me over for my "douchebag goodlooking" friends
And I realized that the world doesn't work on personality or my personality wasn't as charismatic as I thought it was

So that was another motivational factor ( probably the only one that really matters at all)

I then educated myself/ asked lots of questions/ and went to the gym

The first 6 months were horrible cause I had never been active in my entire life and I was really heavy. I would get shin splints and I physically couldn't excersize because I was so much pain. After months of pain I found less impactful excersizes (such as the ellipitcal) and that made so I could actually physically do something worthwhile.

I also discovered that in losing weight ( at least when you're super heavy) its like 85% diet. Onced I changed my diet, the pounds just flew off.

Now I'm at the point where I go to the gyjm 5-6 times a week and play full court basketball close to everyday. Now when I go to the gym, I look forward to it because it puts me in a much better mood for the day. I work hard for about an hour, then I sweat in the sauna and when I'm done with teh Sauana my mind just feels clear adn I'm happy and things are easier. ( compared to my initial impression of people who go to the gym "gym jockerys who are obbessess with how they look - I was quite wrong " )

It changes you physically and mentally and makes things more peaceful.

I never told anyone I was trying to lose weight, I just did it.

I don't think anyone should hate fat people. Because we're good people, we're much funnier, clever, and nicer because we have to be. Only good looking people can be assholes as evident by the original poster.

Sorry dude but its not exactly the best thing to be riding on a bus next to a fatass guy that can easily take both seats and smells like shit. Somehow its not one of the things i could handle during the summer. Its disgusting and i dont see how i look insecure from this point of view. Running 1hr/day every 2nd/3rd day isnt exactly time consuming and it will do wonders to such people. And the thing with the bus just happened to me 3 days ago as i was forced to ride like that for 2 hours i have no idea how i didnt throw up .... Overally you are right we have no right to judge anyone, but literally wasting their motor skills just cause one cant realize its time for a change is something both sad and stupid

Its not about rage hating fatasses its about feeling sorry for them bc of the mentioned reasons. Just imagine how crappy the world would be in case there are only fat chicks around would cause sick population decrease worldwide
