I did, since Zeitgeist came out in 2007 and I wasn't living under a rock and a lot of people were talking about it. I also know more about the occult than pretty much any of you conspiracy theorists, so shit like "Illuminati: The Music Industry exposed" trying to use it to support their theories doesn't pass my bullshit radar. There is so much in there that makes no sense it hurts my brain to think people fall for it and think they're part of some special minority who "know how things really are". I know a bunch of idiotic potheads who have never opened a book and that's what they believe in . . . says a lot. Such a stupid gimmick.

Here's a famous occultist who doesn't believe in your shit either... he also happens to have done some actually impressive works, unlike any conspiracy theorist:

I should believe a comic book writer because he said so? How do you become a famous occultist? I don't know who this man is let me just ignore it because it was in a video after all.
Cognitive dissonance we all have it how about I try and find my own truth and you yours and stop trying to influence each other because it's going nowhere.

If there is one thing you conspiracy theorists are good at it is being distracted.

You're not "finding your own truth" when you are part of a mass movement like Zeitgeist - you are a sheep who thinks he is apart of the sheep. What is the best description of the Zeitgeist movement? A mass movement of new-age Utopianists. Followers, fanatics. "Truthists" are nothing more.

ehm ok but the idea that we do it because it comforts us is not true. I do it for research I don't prescribe to a movement such as zeitgeist and I get many different ideas from the many people.
Just recently after watching mark passio you may say that is what I subscribe to.. what does he 'preach'? to believe that humanity is intrinsically good in its nature, to break free from the left brain prison (can show brain scans to verify damage done) stuff like that you can take from it too whatever I'm rambling but I'm , more motivated and looking forward to the next before I had completely given up in humanity and myself.

"I do it for research I don't prescribe to a movement such as zeitgeist and I get many different ideas from the many people." Simple rationalization. You can't really know what you do it for, most of our motivations are unknown to us, but we are good at rationalizing them.

The very fact that you tend towards ideas that make you some kind of an underdog that has something to accomplish in this world says it all. "Break free from this" and "Awaken to your true self" -- all this kind of talk is nauseating and serves no "higher purpose". You were fucked the minute you were born because you are an insatiable animal who cannot bear the fact that he leads a meaningless existence and will one day die. Even the worst conspiracy theory is more comforting than the truth of that.

Why is mankind intrinsically good in its nature? Is not its nature duality, and evil born of duality?

Ye but the fact that you think you know me from a few lines I wrote very tired is the problem. Everyone that comes into these threads and starts to almost angrily yell at us lol is something strange to me. Why are they trying to control it?
It may be nauseating to you but I find it far more interesting than all of the crap people talk about nowadays.

And I wrote break free from the left brain prison western society is heavily tilted towards the left brain in almost every walk of life and that I believe is why it is so sick.

Sure, there is a lot of conditioning to undo to attain some degree of freedom, but the idea that you will really be free and that much better off is naive, it's all I'm saying. Unless you are completely detached from the world you are never free.

I don't think I know you, I'm just seeing you defend a movement I have no faith in (as I have faith in nothing) and so I tell you my opinion of it and of the people who subscribe to it. And I'm more bothered with the idiots who come in the threads and are like "lol you people can't swallow the red pill because you're all sheep" than the angry ones. The angry ones at least don't act like they're part of an elite few who are intellectually capable of understanding how the world really works. Plus, if you really do know that people are hypnotized in their daily lives and live the lives of robots [which, by the way, is self-evident to me and not requiring of a Matrix-like conspiracy], why would you try to argue with them? Shouldn't your knowledge that people are zombies make you feel like it is a completely futile endeavor? The irony of that I could never understand. And I'm not specifically saying you're doing this, but what is the motivation behind making threads and blogposts like d_smart_s, or tutz now does? Finding comfort in knowing you're not the only one with the information? Or in d_smart_s's case maybe the enjoyment of some false sense of superiority because the "sheep" won't give credence to any of his arguments?

It's all pretty odd. If I am convinced of something, for example, that life is an illusion, why would I want to argue it? When you are absolutely certain of something you don't feel the need to prove it to anyone.

To SakiSaki:

Man I'm sorry but I can't do that. It is not that I dont want to convince you, I really do, but I know how all this is gonna go at the moment I assert anything about this: people are gonna start to put me down, "prove this" you will say, "what about this this and that" you will ask. And I can't prove any or or give enough evidence even for a brain like mine to believe in all this with just a few written lines. I would guess that to make most of the people to even start considering new posibilities I would need maybe 20 or 30 hours of their time at least? Maybe more. It is such a deep theory, how can you expect me to make you interested in a crazy theory like this that can potentialy change your life with just a few lines? I can't. I can totally see someone going through, let's say, 100 hours of videos and 1000 pages of books and in the end of all of it go like: "I dont see enough evidence for it yet" or some other similar thought process. I admire that. I consider myself a skeptical to a degree, but each of us process this data it its own way. Myself? I'm convinced. I might be wrong, for sure. But at the moment I dont think I am. I experienced this information in a way it makes a lot of sense to me.

To Loco:

Hey man I admire you. You are smart, you usually knows what you are talking about. I'm glad that you at least went through some of the info I've put here, thanks.

The fact that one day I wasnt aware of the "matrix" and now I'm shows that other people can come to the same conclusion. As a matter of fact, if I'm right, the only way to save human kind from a tragic existence (and even worse than the way things already are) is to make more and more people wake up. If enough of us realize what is going on we will be able to make such unbelieveable changes and move towards such a amazing existence that I think it is worth trying here. Its ok that you think Zeitgeist or any of the videos I posted are bullshit, I understand that. I've seen many websites trying to discredit the info in the movie with some solid info, but in the end it is a very big discusion. I can come up with info against a lot of the info people have put out there against the zeitgeist and so on back and forward. Then you go "Nah, you are probably dumb and dont know how to correctly analyze good info" or "Your info is probably not reliable". You are gonna try to discredit me as much as you can, cause whatever I'm saying just doesnt fit the way that you view the world. We can go on and on. I'm not gonna say I've been to both side and decided wich one I think is the best cause that is not true, I dont think there are any sides here.

If any of you want to discuss this further privately I would gladly do so. Skype: arthuramlima
Peace guys

I dont believe what I believe because it is more comfortable, it certainly isnt. The idea of a chaotic as it is if much more comfortable. Now I actualy have to worry more, do more, think about it all the time, that is not very comfortable at all.

One more important thing:

It is very common that we all try to validate our views with people with a wide recognition in a field or people highly respected in your own community. That is a valid way to make a point, most of us would find a information much more credible coming from someone that is "respected". One thing that bothers me the most is that I know that a lot of the people a have the most respect for probably dont share the same view as mine (like Richard Dawkins and Neil deGrasse Tyson) or at least I assume they dont since they havent publicly spoken about it. Even though I think you (Loco) might have done some kind o research I will make a guess here and say that when you say "unlike any conspiracy theorist" you probably dont know what you are talking about. There are people out there (conspiracy theorists) that have done an amazing job in this field, but you probably wouldnt know who John Rhodes or William Bramley are without looking up @ wikipedia would you? Do you realize that, if you assume the conspiracy might be real, no conspiracy theorist would reach a level of fame and respect to make him a credible source of information to society, just because, if the theory is right, the people in control wouldnt let it happen. If the conspiracy is right, and we live in the matrix like I said before, all you know and experience is somewhat controlled so you can never reach enlightment. So you will reason in a thousand ways not to believe any of this.

So basicly you are saying you dont want to argue your points because you are afraid someone might punch hole in your argument. Thats not a very rational way to go about things is it? You believe something that is completely outrageous, how are you supposed to convince people of your view if you dont want to give any basis to it? You are basicly saying: "a supreme lizard race is controlling the human race, dont believe me? Here watch 30 hours of youtube videos where other people are saying we are controlled by a supreme lizard race."

You have to have evidence somewhere dude. Its not like you can compensate the lack of hard evidence with just adding more really vague "clues" or w/e d_smart likes to call them.

I'm not afraid of anything really, it is just obvious what is gonna happen as soon as I argue anything. I dont have any intention of starting this endless discussion. If you are interested in the subject we can discuss it privately and I will gladly talk about it with you! But not in a forum where I know people are gonna try to make fun, offend and discredit me in every posible way. If you can't understand that I'm sorry, that's it, nothing I can do about it.

lol cmon man, you made my day with that post. So you think you know a lot about the Occult but you strongly deny the existence of the Illuminati????????? You are joking, right?
You and that caveman manga writer are the only two people "knowledgable" of the Occult who don't know that the Illuminati/Bilderberg run the world. The Illuminati is just the beginning, it's literally square 1 of the Occult and you haven't even stepped on it, let alone further. It's like saying how much know about soccer and at the same time not knowing who is Sir Alex Ferguson or what offside is. You breaking my balls, man. Please do me a favour and go on some random forum that discusses the occult and start a thread with the title "i know a lot about the Occult. The Illuminati do not exist. You will get banned cause people would think you are trolling them. From all your posts I have read i have come to the conclusion that you are a philosophical type of guy. You like beating around the bush. You have come accross Occult knowledge, you are researching non-standard topics. But you consciously or subconsciously are afraid of knowing. You prefer the seemingly deep-thought abstract philosophical stuff that really doesn't say much. You are the type of guy that doesn't like "straight to the point" "here is the big picture' material because it takes away the uncertainty and the abstract philosophical inflated balloon that at the end of the day leaves you thinking but not knowing. You like to think but not to know. That's what I am getting. And I also believe that your research has not touched at all the true arguments and evidence out there. You just go with the philosophical flow of that caveman and many others but you won't get much knowledge from philosophy. You might expand your mind or start thinking in a deeper way and contemplate life more broadly but if you want KNOWLEDGE you are just not searching in the right place. Any of the top-notch conspiracy theorists out there is extremely deep in the Occult. If you want Occult knowledge (not abstract ideas and concepts) just google "conspiracy occult expert" and start reading and see where it takes you in a few days. Yes, my post sounds harsh and ridiculing but if you seek knowledge you shouldn't care about that but you know.. maybe try those 3 words in google and see what happens.

But don't stop reading if it's about the Illuminati or something else you think iss bullshit. Through my research in the Occult i have often been like "lol this theory is fucking ridiculous". Or "there isn't any evidence of that". The truth was that I have not stumbled upon it, not that there isn't. I have often thought "okay this is it, now I get the big picture, there isn't any new big truth out there" and boom 6 months later I am laughing at how closed-minded and naive I was. There were theories that I have started researching for 4 times!!! The first 3 times I was like "THIS IS SO STUPIDDFJDFJFDJ, NO EVIDENCE!!!!!" and I went on forums ridiculing the theory cause it didn't make much sense at the beginning and it was really an outrageous theory. But I kept researching different topics and I came to the conclusion that EVERY world reknowned Occult expert or conspiracy theorist thought of that theory as true. And I kept asking myself why is that, what did they find that I can't. Are they all disinfo agents? Am I the stupid one? Are they the stupid ones? I just came to the conclusion that I have to push myself and ignore my closed-minded skepticism to the theory and just research it more. Boom - a few months later my research has found enough evidence for me to conclude that the theory is true. It taught me a huge lesson: Always consider the possibility that you are wrong no matter how sure you are of the opposite . If you always do that and always keep an open mind and you always keep researching you will eventually come to the TRUTH. That is the reason why when two conspiracy experts meet and start discussing different topics they always agree for the most part. Of course, everyone has different opinions on the details but there is one big thread of truth that EVERYONE that is deep enough in the Occult agrees on.
