Ray Bitar, former CEO of Full Tilt Poker, who was able to avoid prison time thanks to his health problems with heart, apparently married at the end of last year, according to various media reports. Wedding pictures of Bitar and his wife started circulating the Internet on Thursday.

Bitar pleaded guilty back in April 2013 to violation of the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act(UIGEA) and conspiracy to commit bank and wire fraud. If found guilty, he was facing decades in jail , as Departament of Justice went as far to call FullTiltPoker "a global Ponzi scheme"

The judge in the case spared him prison because he was in urgent need of heart translating, and putting him behind bars could mean “death sentence for him.” Bitar gave back $40 million to the government as part of his plea deal with the prosecutor. He has never admitted to stealing from former customers of the FTP website.

Howard Lederer, Chris Ferguson and Rafe Furst, the other men in charge of the company all avoided prison time as well. They didn’t admit to any wrongdoing whatsoever and actually Ray Bitar was the only one of them to be ever criminally charged.
