in this spot our value range is a pretty small part of our total range here, also this size gives me a comfortable 3 barrels to play with.. if we raise bigger any turn bet will commit us (and in turn show the villain that we are commited)

Can you explain to me why you made the pre-flop raise so small?

too many reasons to derail this hand...but the theory gist of it is its 2 bbs to win 1.5..they need t fold 57% to be profitable even if i am not +EV postflop

So 2bb is your standard steal raise? I'm playing micro, would you recomend this smalish steal size at that lvl?

You are prob right, we can't help it. It's a well undeserved ego for the most part though, and it's best to keep it on reality check often or you end up having bankroll fights for something on the internet.

maybe.

or maybe some of us look for edges we know we can exploit. it has nothing to do with ego other than it's fun and profitable.

im pretty respectful to almost everyone i think is good. u never see me taking shots at locoo or fayth despite not liking them a ton as people.

doesn't sound like appealing personality traits to me

I just saved a bunch of money on my car insurance, by running away from the scene of an accident.
