i think you have to call after that line, but i'm not sure what you're repping on the flop really.

I remember reading an article about raising to see where ur at or raising to slow them down somewhere in 2005. Its not really relevant In this hand but it actually became a good play. Sucks that the author of the article prolly went busto before poker became weird

i could see him having AK here, what changes if i bet river bigger ?

Edit: I could see him having his entire bluffcatch and nut range here... so maybe betting bigger and then folding?

nolan i think realistically

Most of my QX some straight draws, 2pair and the odd set and ofcourse highcard bluffs.

i cant fathom him not calling me with like QT or QJ here..? or even just JJ.

not sure how tricky uve been playing but im gonna assume ur hand is face up to nano after checking the turn on a 6 which is potentially great OR terrible card for u. In his perspective, that turn can also be great for his own range. I don't see nano ever calling here with hand weaker then ak. he's like the biggest bluffy boy on the river

I'm saying its a great spot for him to shove with pairs like qj instead of calling. This is like top of ur range beside K5 K7 or even KQ(?) that u decide to monkey with and ur thinking about bet folding

he can definately rep ALOT of nuts on the river, because he HAS alot of nuts.. how many combos of nuts are there? and how many bluff catchers turn bluffs??

If u want to give nano a magic range with some deduction, we can start with 2combo of 84s, 4 of 89s, 2 combo of sets, 4combo of two pairs and 6 combo of AA(?).

16 combo of nuts vs likelyhood of you losing ur manhood by checking river or bet folding shows that playing the river is minus EV play.

lets not talk about manhood..
tbh,

Im actuallly nano in this hand and nano is some other reg i just want to see if my shove is perceived as nuts or bluff..

But from the looks of it it seems it can be both and thus very high variance vs a good player...

edit: btw this river it hink is still more geared towards nuts, because not every time people turn showdown hands into bluffs.

AK, KQ, QQ, KK, 55 77 even some 89.
And as for bluffs im thinking, 5X 7X, TT, JJ, some rarely QX and even some air.

What you think?
