yeah clearly a bluff even in the most sicko of lineups

The hand you posted 2 down is pretty instructive here. I'm guessing he's always shoving a jack if he's doing this.
edit: which implies to me you should be checking your entire range on the river, making it very hard/impossible for you to bluff shove it yourself. What do you think? |

I think its safe to assume he wasnt vbetting a pair of nines with no kicker there.
Oly, I hear ya but honestly I think his range is just so 9x heavy and how the dynamic was going I thought he was more likely to bluff it than herocall even if Im unbalanced because Im always jamming my bluffs I thought it was +EV to check in this particular spot ( I think its just too particular of a spot and given a few minor variables I would have a value shoving range to balance my bluffs) |
