say he folds to a reraise ~20% of the time, will it be +ev to get the money in now? assuming he's calling with AK/JJ+

k4ir0s   Canada. May 04 2011 17:27. Posts 3476

thought this was a good enough hand to squeeze? since he had 72% fold to 3bet ;o

I would 4b if he was not EP

Odds are exactly 50%: it either happens or not

He folds to 3bets 72%, which is reason for the squeeze. Once we get 4bet, we want to know what % of the time we need him to fold to the 5bet shove for it to be profitable. 20% was the initial guess, consensus seems to be that that's not nearly high enough.

yadayadayada

you win 72 every time he folds

when you get called and win 72+180+160 *0.3 (assuming 30 % equity) = 123 dollars

its like burning 57 dollars when called (180-123).

so... you need him to fold (57/(72+57)) = 0.44... 44 %

only you can know if thats enough, totally depends on his 4bet tendencies.

Your squeeze is pathetic. Make it $26.

I think the squeese is to small as well; something between 25-28 seems fine

pew pew pew!

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light not our darkness that most frightens us and as we let our own lights shine we unconsciously give other people permision to do the same
