hmm played it fine i guess, just unlucky to run into an overpair.

Not this way... I mean you're sitting pretty with a very nice stack in bubble, is there a reason to waste 1/3 of it by calling something that's 50-50 at best. I guess you could call in hopes to eliminate a low stack, but you could also consider folding to the all-in. Dunno. I hate bubbles. If this was $1.2 or $5.5 tournie, you might actually be ahead here, but I don't think that's quite probable.

if its the bubble do you really think hes doing this with any less than AK

youre most likely dominated, id fold.

but you must raise with this hand here, its too big of a hand to simply fold
then u should call the all in because of pot odds; chances are they have 2 overcards

Those who do not BELIEVE in krablar must CONCEDE to krablar.

Yeah but with that much in the pot already i think it's an easy call

hmmm the only way you can get away from this hand is to fold UTG

you can't fold to that all-in, pot odds are way too huge and they might have a lower pair or overcards

hes getting less than 3:1

guy wouldnt do this with anything but AK AQ or higher pairs on the bubble.

4.5:1 shot against higher pairs

7:5 shot against AK AQ

hes getting like 2.75:1
he needs AK AQ like half the time to justify that, and i just dont see that happening on the bubble. people are too worried about busting out to make a move with a mediocre stack.

plus its 1/3 of his remaining stack

i like folding preflop or a raise to 2k. the 2.5 bb raise late in tournaments becomes very solid, saves you chips when you have nothing-marginal hand and people come over the top

I would fold , pair of eights was low pair , comparing to the community cards.
