yup, loads of people i went to school with are getting married and popping out kids, getting mortgages and careers.

Yeah i was just remarking on this the other day. 5 of my friends from high school are now married. My ex-gf from freshmen year is married and has a kid. Another one of my buddies has a kid on the way. Its crazy because I am only 20 lol. Time flies I guess. Just kinda glad I havent had to grow up yet lol.

Yarr sometimes I feel the same way too, but then I also have friends who are still finishing their studies and not doing anything at all besides that so I'm still ahead of some of my friends in that department.

well I think that for girls is normal to get married at this age and start family etc, but for the guys - its just stupid - those years between 20 and 30 are probably the best years in your life - so enjoy them and than start thinking about family.

I'm 20 and ... none of my friends are even close to getting married.. I guess it's cause they are all studying.

Yep 24 here too. Just think about it though, half of the people getting married now are probably going to end up divorced . When I think about it, as far as we know, we only have one life so do what makes you happy and don't waste your time comparing yourself to others. Also if you start your career a year or two later doesn't really matter, in the grand scheme of things, doesn't really matter working 40 years vs 38 over your lifetime.

ya it's lame, my best friend just got married. what really sucks is when your friends start having kids :/
