Sweating the results of a sports bet is the same as sweating an all in with AK vs QQ or even AA vs 22. Once the play is made you're just sweating the action of an event you've estiamted the odds on already so simply enjoy it for the degen sweat it is or move on as you would with your poker.
I also work under an assumption that money is made with sportsbetting through shopping the lines/prices and finding arbs and soft/rogue lines so usually the majority of one's profit is already locked in before the games start anyway. If your perceived value on the bet is tied up in the actual outcome you may be doing it wrong in the first place.

so you play bad poker when you win @ sports bets and you play bad when you lose at it,
maybe you just... play bad?
or maybe the problem is something else, like your selfcontrol, etc and not really sportsbetting |

well if anyone wants free money, bet on Russia in the Russia vs Canada , quarter final game tomorrow. Russia has there Olympic line up, while Canada is playing with there C maybe D lineup, and who said money didn't grow on trees? |

Separate bankrolls? I had same problem, solved it with separate money and counting +/- for longer periods... |

Meh. I'm a degen (and -EV) sports bettor myself so take my post from that perspective as I don't want to claim any expertise on the subject. I may be talking to myself more than I am the OP. |
