Well since Spain is probably going to follow Greece soon the euro is going to be in serious trouble, so stay away from it and even more from the Yen |

If you're the kind of person that's trying to play the forex market as a form of investment, there's probably a much better appreciation betting opportunities in other currencies. But if you're just concerned with dollar and euro your best best would probably be keeping it in dollars.
Alot of ppl were hyped up about how great Euro was gonna be few years ago but they neglected the holes they'll have giving more policy powers to certain countries. Obv alot of ppl arent happy with the way euro system's been running recently and Greece is just the icing on the cake. I'm not saying Euro will somehow epic fail completely but if I had to guess whether it will depreciate or appreciate in near future I'd go w/ depreciation. (obviously)
On the other hand, I know alot ppl are having skepticism about the dollar but U.S econ is bouncing back and I think we can expect dollar strengthening throughout 2010 |

rofl a couple of months we hade the exact same discussion but then the dollar was in focus and we all praised the euro, i think the consensus to draw is that we can not speculate in the exchange courses, just keep the money in that way you need them and focus on what you are able to control, your pokergame |

all that debth stuff confuses me.
in debth to fucking whom?
Every single country has a debth or am I missing something really really basic?
edit: Started thinking about it again when I read some paper today that listed Euro countries heading for Greece.
Seriously. This shit has been bugging me since I was like... 8. About time I find out. |

guys, this is strictly what I can do with my poker br. This isnt money I am speculating with or need living off of.
Its simply: given what we know, which currency should I hold to prevent the biggest asset loss
Right now, I'm holding about €2 : $1 in terms of value |

I thought its mostly internal debt for good economies (Japan Germany etc.), the government borrowing from people.
Keeping the moneys in several currencies is always good. Reduces variance. |

I just keep it in euro's nowadays since every website has that option now. I'm using euro's so no reason to do anything else. |

Really it's a wash, the Euro is gonna have some tough days ahead of it, but the dollar isn't going to be far behind. |
