i bought a really fast pc rig with all the bells and whistles, prob is i have no idea what good games are available? i know google is my friend but i have specific taste when it comes to games and since most of you loved starcraft/diablo/cs then i feel your suggestions would be closer to what i would like to play.
call of duty - going to buy prob
i need some diablo/starcraft clones or something which is similar. i see all these titles online and tbh ive been very disappointed with every single one in the past - god why did blizzard kill my love of gaming with sc and diablo lol. thanks in advance guys

mass effect 2 is really good right now even tho it has a very frustrating tendency of bugging me out in a wall and its very linear. Other than that its really good for like 25 hours probably not worth replaying it tho
for RPG ive seen torchlight that came out a few months ago, but i really have no clue if it's any good (its by some of the creators of diablo1)

Well I'm playing through mass effect 1 right now and I think it's pretty good. I hear mass effect 2 is good as well but I figured it'd be fun to play the original first. |

Lots of people liked Torchlight, it's a pretty simple Diablo clone, but it was a bit too simple for my tastes. Titan Quest was probably the best Diablo clone I've played but it's pretty old.
If you played DoTA, League of Legends is pretty fun. I liked Heroes of Newerth too but the fact that LoL had matchmaking and wasn't a straight clone of DoTA won me over.
Left 4 Dead 2 and CoD:MW2 are probably the two biggest FPS games out right now. If you haven't tried either Left 4 Dead, I'd recommend it, especially if you have any friends to play it with. |
