Here's the situation:

- 5700 br approx left (debt -free yay!)
- sucking hardcore 24 tabling 100nl, longest downward spiral in years. gaaaaaaaaaaaaah
- i have like 47kvpp to go before milestone for 3kusd ( fuck pokerstars vpp cocaine obv)
- im thinking about switching to 6max and/or moving sites
- thinking about getting like cheap coaching for 6max if ever i switch
- really confused what to do in spots now, i dont know what limit/game type i beat anymore, seems none i guess lol

from that data: analyze the best course of action for me please, a lot of you guys are def smarter than me, so any input would be greatly appreciated.

well if you can't even beat 100nl 24 tabling, you should just lower the amount of tables, do like 6-9 tables and get good reads on players, try to look for spots you just gave up on before. i think if you can't beat full ring you'll have an even harder time at 6max.

problem is that no other site other than ps allows 24 tables at the same time, only 16 max

oh and yeah, dont play for the rake, play 1 or 2 tables and learn the game, of course if you find it boring then maybe poker isn't for you

Basically you just need to have the ability to move down. Play 9 tables, and play 20k hands of .10 .25. Then play 20k hands of .25 .50. Then move back to .50 1. Maybe, every time you have a losing week, move down a stake. Every winning month, move up one.
Also, spend 10 minutes after each session going over hands and thinking about better plays. There is a lot to be said about the work that has to be done off the table in poker.

Check out the book, The Poker Mindset. It may help you with some of the psychology aspects that you are having trouble with.

I am a degen. Do not believe in any of my advice.

The point at which my winrate increased the most was when I stopped playing like 8-12 tables and started playing only 4-6. If you're a beast like nanonoko or something you can 24 table fine, but I don't feel like you're going improve grinding 24 tables like a robot. Play less tables for a while, focus on what you're doing and why you're doing it, and then when your confidence is back, increase tables again. You'll improve more playing less tables, the only reason you'd want to play more tables is if you think your edge is large already and you think you can maximise hourly by playing many tables, however if your edge isn't that big in the first place then you don't want to be making it any harder on yourself, especially when you're not likely to improve much with so many tables going on at once.

One day good. One day bad. And some days, even hope
