Dual Monitor or 28 Inch?

What is better for multi tabling, dual 22 inch monitors (resolutions are 1900 x 1080 and 1680 x 1050), or a single 28 inch monitor with 1920 x 1200 and the 1680 x 1050 22 inch monitor on the side for messenger/extra tables? Does it feel weird having differently sized monitors when multi tabling? That's the main concern. The other thing is that my friend tells me that having dual monitors may make you tired if you're looking from one screen to the other or having to move your neck a lot during a session.
Opinions?
Also, price-wise, which isn't a huge deal, the 22 and 28 inch monitors cost about 200 and 400 respectively. I already own the other 22 inch monitor with 1680 x 1050 resolution.

I tried 2 smalls vs 1 big and I really, really prefer the big one. I tend to miss some hands and timeout with 2 screens.

If youre going to dual screen, get two of the EXACT same monitors and run them in the same res and jus make sure your setup means you dont timeout and make sure you dont have to move urneck or strain w.e to see both monitors ^_^

When you choose monitor look for ips or s-pva panel type.

Well I already have one monitor that's 22... It's not like I'm going to use dual 28 inch monitors .... I was thinking use 28 inch to play poker, then 22 on side to use internet/messenger/porn Also, what is ips/-pva panel type, and what is its significance? I thought the important thing was DVI input for higher quality and dual monitor

Ok actually did some search on ips/pva stuff that you said, the 28 inch monitor I'm looking at has a TFT/WUXGA panel type. Any idea how this compares to the ones you recommended?

definitely listen to lewy313

what monitor is it exactly?
TFT/WUXGA is just the display type and has nothing really to do with the panel

at least for me, my advice is if u spend tons of hours everyday behind a screen looking at stats and cards or reading spreadsheets and doing things with precise detail etc, then definitely spend more $$ and get a good panel (which is at least anything besides a TN panel)

it will save your eyes

I'd shove all in on that monitor being a TN panel just because of the pricetag alone..
the chances increase of the selling site listing the panel type if it's any other type of panel other than the cheapo TN

I'd recommend using this site http://www.tftcentral.co.uk/

the monitor panel search they have there helped me alot (even tho the one u listed isn't in their database but alot of monitors are)

also I'll go ahead and put it out there that unfortunately u are going to find that as soon as u break away from TN panels u are almost always looking at spending a few hundred more at least

Yea I figured I think I'm just going to get it and deal with it, and I can always replace it and get a better one when I'm a baller. Thanks for all the help ToTehEastSide, much appreciated, and I feel so much more informed about monitors after all of this :D

If you could use two 24" monitors you can look at dell 2409WFP
http://reviews.cnet.com/lcd-monitors/...arp-2408wfp/4505-3174_7-32886455.html in that price you cant find anything better. Still if you don't like that dell look at benq or iiyama monitors. If you want spent few k $ look at eizo monitors. The best pro graphics use only eizo monitors

Differences between TN and s-pva or ips are huge. TN is cheapest panel typ. Bad color and bad viewing angle

I'll keep that in mind when I get enough money to buy something decent, I'm just a NL25 player though, so I'm just upgrading what I got atm xD
