Well i am currently undecided.

My current system was build in July 2005 and therefore is almost 4 years old.

Athlon XP 3000+
1GB ram DDR 333
Geforce 7600GT 256mb ( did upgrade in 2007 from the original radeon9800pro)
80GB Seagate IDE + 250GB USB HDD
Asus Mainboard
Asus Tower 360w power supply

So i can run

FTPoker 12 tables + HEM on it without problems
Starcraft without problems
UT 2004 with 120fps average in 1650x1050 4x AA highest details

I dont have time for nerding single player games anyway since i have University+Poker+MMA

So my new PC shall meet the following requirements

Can play Starcraft 2
Can play some nice Multiplayer Shooter for eaz fragging when i dont feel like playing Poker or doing MMA
Can play FTP 12 tables + Hem smoothly.

This is the system i favour right now

Core 2 Duo E7400, 2x2.8Ghz,
4096 MB DDR2 800,
500GB SATA
Asus Mainboard
Thermalke Soprano Tower + 550w Be quiet power supply
Geforce 260GTX 896mb 216s
Vista 64bit ( I was told its necessary to have 64 bit windows since 32bit Versions only supply full use of ~ 3500 ram ?)

This all together would cost me 704€ ( 620€ the computer + 84€ the Windows Vista64 premium)+ no shipping fee

Havent found anything better for 620€ so far.

Pokerwise = havent played the last 10 days or so

I will buy custom CPU and VGA coolers since i hate loud PCs
