futbal, soccer, football, etc. This video pretty much sums it up. Quite moving imo, or maybe I am just an emo bitch.

In other news, I am writing an informative speech on Gaelic Football for a required communications elective. I originally planned on writing about poker, then quickly realized I was completely out of my mind for thinking that in the first place. For those of you who don't know what Gaelic Football is, here are some videos (I am currently in the works of trying to set up our teams website.

First off, how to play the game. Here are 3 videos that explain how the game is played:
<object width="445" height="364"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/iIlsRsMMJUc&hl=en&fs=1&rel=0&border=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/iIlsRsMMJUc&hl=en&fs=1&rel=0&border=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="445" height="364"></embed></object>

<object width="445" height="364"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/dpdoJnsDHIY&hl=en&fs=1&rel=0&border=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/dpdoJnsDHIY&hl=en&fs=1&rel=0&border=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="445" height="364"></embed></object>

<object width="445" height="364"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/3Ip9dNCuy_k&hl=en&fs=1&rel=0&border=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/3Ip9dNCuy_k&hl=en&fs=1&rel=0&border=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="445" height="364"></embed></object>

Some issues with the above videos
Gaelic football is all about what you can get away with. The only level of the sport where physical contact is the least are at the very highest levels of play due to skills. I play for a Junior A team here in the US and the games are far more aggressive/physical. As long as it looks like you are going for the ball, your chances of getting called are slim, within reason of course. All in all its a great sport. Here's some cool videos to peep

This is Ireland vs Australia - Australia's AFL is quite similar to Ireland's Gaelic football as it was based off the GAA. Fwiw, the games are generally not this aggressive. However we have had quite a few games similar to this on account of our team completely dominating the Junior B level(resulting in quite a few national championships), and since moving up to Junior A, we have held our own pretty well. We actually had a game called off once vs our Pittsburgh, PA rival due to repeated bench clearing brawls and the injuries that occurred on account of them. Anyways, enjoy

Gotta rep County Maigh Eo (aka Mayo)- Mayo v. Dublin

Mayo v. Kerry - We lost but it was a good game nonetheless
<object width="445" height="364"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/JDwXzyZtKp0&hl=en&fs=1&rel=0&border=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/JDwXzyZtKp0&hl=en&fs=1&rel=0&border=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="445" height="364"></embed></object>

Ok, enough of that, I am off to the store to pick up some healthy foods. Going to quit smoking within a week thanks to a free program offered by the school. The cool thing about it is that nearly my entire fraternity is going to being trying to kick the habit. We are also taking part in some fitness programs together. Weight loss programs for those horizontally challenged brothers, and getting in better shape and stronger for those who are not chubby [like myself]. It will be great having all of this support as it should keep us all fairly motivated. I cant wait until I start eating better, and feeling stronger and healthier. I am undecided as to whether or not I will take the Cleveland Fire Department Test coming up this summer. I definitely need to work on these things if I want to stand a chance on the physical portion of the test.

That's all for now, peace out girl scouts, keep on l.t.d.

P.S. If you haven't peeped my last blog, at least check out my broseph JoeyPs video I posted, or his music on this website. Dudes legit

what angers me about football is the level of unpolishment and how shitty players are compared to other sports, let me get this more clear, for example in rallying you see the world top drivers drive at the absolute limit driving for hours a car of 1400kg sliding in mud from corner to corner where a mistake of 1 inch will results in a massive crash and they manage to do this in an almost godly way, simply flawless.

In football you see a retard with a 30 million contract miss the most ridiculous easiest shot ever, you see them fucking failing a penalty shot, or other dumb mistakes constantly, i dont know why but the players just suck it doesnt matter if its Kaka or Messi they fuck up all the time, maybe its because they make way too much money for what they do and if they miss there are no real consecuences, maybe if everytime they miss an easy goal they would get their legs broken they wouldnt fuck up as much

Also a clear sign that football is such a ridiculously unpolished sport is the fact that the referee is ridiculous, the game does not try to make it a fair game, they want to add the variance of refereeing, if they wanted it to be fair and polished they would have atleast 2 referees in the field or even more so we wouldnt see the CONSTANT bereating about referees, and you rarely see that in other sports.

dont missunderstand me for some random american who is clueless about football, its our national sport (even tho we have a shitty team), we have the stronguest league in america we import players from brazil and argentina since we pay much more EVERYBODY loves and watches football here, almost every single person i know.

So i dont underestimate how hard or not it is, ive played football many years since it was pretty much the only sport to play while i was growing but i still cant comprehend how somebody who is supposed to "live" for the sport and is paid dozens of millions fucks up a goal that is harder to miss than to score, its just uncomprehensible when you watch atheletes in other sports do things that seem impossible.

Hm football ( Soccer) is very boring to watch for the most part
Besides some very few exciting games most of the time nothing happens

An average 92minute game ( 90+ 2 overtime) is about ~ 60-70 minutes of time where absolutely nothing happens

Its fun to play though
played it from 4years of age till my 14th birthday 3-4 times a week in my hometown soccer club

U see what i did there with A8 ? He 4 bets and there we go insta jam A8 : ---booooom -- . hahahaha ( Krantz)
