So this is the month that I feel like poker has really taken off for me, and I'm really, really pleased. I started playing in June, really turned up the heat in October/November. I struggled for a long, long time to get past NL10-- NL25 just seemed like such an insurmountable obstacle. I ran bad during many of my shots, but I really just wasn't ready for the next level yet. I lost an incredible 68 buyins before it all clicked at the very end of December.

What clicked? Well, I had to start adjusting to villains properly. I was having a lot of trouble adjusting to individuals, to regs vs fish, to aggro fish, etc. It wasn't that I didn't know "how" to adjust but that I simply didn't have the confidence to make use of my observations and educated guesses on their play. It was a problem with my confidence in my observations.

So I said fuck it and started doing what I knew I had to do-- adjust--and I took off at a reasonable winrate at nl20 and hopped to nl50 quickly.

Anyway, that's my little poker story so far. I still have a ton to learn and I'm looking forward to it..

50% of what I made this month is rakeback/bonuses, but it counts anyway!

All of jan combined, w/ rakeback+bonuses

I've also fulfilled my goals for this month. I'm an nl50 reg I also made 2k profit with everything added up.

My goals for February:
Improve
$2k+ profit
nl100 reg by March 1st

And thanks to everyone at LP^^

Yah I might be grinding more next month too, depends on how many shots I take at nl100 and such though. Over a small 4k sample today I seemed to play pretty solid playing 8 tables instead of my usual 4 or 6, so that'd make quite a difference in total hand count. Just that if I'm taking shots it is back down to 4, also time off for depression when shots fail LOL

turn ur month around, quick

lol its the cake software, it behaves weird when a small blind suddenly sits out or leaves, and the hand converter just leaves it as a blank small blind ^^
