53/19 over a small sample.

Flop is obviously great; a draw that I could possibly overcharge someone like him to pay, and my paired K. I lead out as normal, and he called pretty quickly, so I figured his range was mostly flush draws or weaker kings. The turn was kind of a stupid card because it's unlikely he had some sort of two pair. I lead out with a weaker block bet (first time ever this session) to see where I stand, and he responds with a pretty quick miniraise. I was certain he had a flush, but for so cheap, I figured I'd call and reeval, or maybe even spike a full house. After his strong bet on the river, I folded.

Standard?

This river is a pretty meaningless card IMO.

It makes no sense for you to decide to call the turn without a read. If you're read is that he would do this with 1c type hands + draws and weakish hands then raise it up and see where you stand.

Absent reads I fold this at nl10 too and feel fine about it. I do bet turn stronger though.

I agree with Benjamin. If you call this you have to call a non club river. Also a raise is definitely good.

i got crushed earlier... short stack w/ 5 bucks at 25nl, i raise preflop to 1.25, he calls, i have AK, flop is 4 6 T, i put him all in b/c i hate short stacks, he instacalls and shows A4..... no help i lose.
So then we play another hand, he has about 8 bucks, i have AJ, flop is J 2 4, he shoves, i call, he has QQ......wtf :/ he was terrrrrrrrrrrrrible and lucky

dont overanalyze this.

you can fold this versus a lot of opponents, but against a 53/19 you def. can make an argument for calling.

Just curious, what makes this such an easy ship? Does the odds of him doing something stupid with a random A, K, or air really outweigh the odds of him having a made flush?

Only reason I ask is because the one thing 50 vp players love to do is chase any draw, so I figured this was one of the obvious times it hit.
