Well it was my mom's birthday and she decided to go to Cancún, so a few of my family went there and it was quite nice, i also went to meet with some friends that are visiting their families in the summer since they study in my city and they took me to some nice and fun bars.
They went to ChichenItza (i didnt, i rather got drunk yay!) which is the city in the movie Apocalipto, yep the Mayan capital so here are a few pics of the piramids to which sadly they just recently wont allow visitors to climb.

yep, they look cool especially the restored side of that piramid, they should restore all the site tbh but well u know the huge debate if it should keep the wear or not but IMO they look much more impressive restored, i want to see how the city looked in the past, not a bunch of piled up rocks who used to be stuff. |

I leave to cancun in 33 hours. I'm really hoping we get to see some pyramids or something like this as well.
For the first couple days, we're going to be staying with my aunt who owns a restaurant in popular Cancun. However for the second half of our trip we're staying with my uncle in Tulum. No electricity and very much jungle. Going to be really different for me :D |

just saw this and yeah, I was one of the last tourists to climb it. The tour guide said they were going to close it in '98 (I went '97) because of the tourists that were vandalizing the statues and the walls. People were puting lipstick on statues and stuff. |
