Moving on up... ohhh to the East Side!!!

<center></center>

So after my first shot at NL50 with a BR of $1,230 that turned into a 3 buyin loss, I decided to stick to NL25 until I got back up to $1,250 and then give it another shot. Played a nice session but unfortunately folded AA vs a guy who went all in because of a freaking misclick, losing the half buyin I already put into the pot. He later told me he had AK. So I came out with about 2/3 of a buyin win... and a lot of anger.

Then I got inspired. I got motivated. I got pumped up. Why? Cause I read the RainKhan interview! Then I read Rekruls interview too. And I remembered how it's all about staying cool and composed. And I remembered that my fellow old school BW players were killing the poker scene. And I remembered that I can do it too.

So I hopped back onto NL50 with my $1,100 BR figuring I could lose 2 more buyins before moving back down, and just played my A game. I hit KK vs AA right away and KK overpair vs a set that I couldn't get myself away from, but then it was all glory as I cruised to a 6.5 buyin win for the session. Hit a new peak of $1,425!! Feels good, especially since I was just on my worst downswing ever.

I'm going to continue moving up a limit when I hit 25 buyins and move down when I'm at 20 buyins. I just need that extra security cause I'm a nit at heart.

And now I'm solidly into NL50! Glad to be here. It's definitely no harder than NL25. Dunno why I was so worried about it. Of course if I drop to $1,000 I'll go back down to NL25, but I've got a nice cushion now.

2 limits to go and then I can make enough money to actually buy something real with my poker winnings, hell even pay rent? MAYBE!

Be aware that you cannot judge if you're a winning player here or there after playing a few thousand hands. Currently I play here too so I'm looking forward to stacking you a couple of times .

Holy shit dude great heater. The highest I ever got my BR, not including rakeback or bonuses, was $2200. If (and when) you beat that I'll admit Indian supremacy. Then you'll have to start giving ME advice :DDDD which I look forward to. Great job, don't look back. You'll need a nice comfortable pillow to bite when that inevitable downswing-o hits ya.

Of course kapol =) I know it takes a lot of hands to know whether you can truly beat a limit. But I've been scoping NL50 for a while between checking the tables on stars and watching CR videos @ NL50, and it became pretty clear that it wasn't a huge difference than NL25. Especially with good table selection. When you pick the right tables it's just as easy and as filled with donks/fish.

And hopefully I'll catch on to you being a fellow LP shark before you can get me all in, and then I'll just avoid you like the plague. Works right?

haha "Indian Supremacy". Sounds like what they really shoulda called the second jason bourne movie... it DID start in India! Thanks pal, I plan to keep going and going. I figure moving to NL 100 will be a bit of a change while NL 200 will start showing me some bigger problems. The downswings will definitely come which suck like hell, but I've weathered 2 so far where I felt like I'd never see another winning day and that I must really truly suck at poker. So they'll just get easier and easier to deal with! Hell, I kinda like em cause I study so much harder during the downswings, heh.
