-playing poker with some co-workers (maybe the other ppl think i'm trying to impress my co-workers but i dunno)
-game is 2/5
-i was playing pretty aggro and raising/cbetting lots of flops
-drunk guy gets moved to this table, i lose 3-4 small hands in a row, cause drunk guy doesn't fold to cbets
-i play much tighter now
drunk guy limps, weakish/tightish regish looking guy raises to 25, random fish calls, i look down at AKo 2 from button, i should
a) call?
b) reraise?
+ Show Spoiler +
maybe back when i was playing online and trying to play "aggro" i woulda just standard 3bet here without thinking too much, but flatting is clearly better right? we let the drunk retard in, and this hand prob dominates a big portion of the noob reg?
edit: holy shit i forgot how to post relevant informations.

Would help if we knew your hand?
Also isnt 2/5 pretty high to be playing with co-workers? Sounds like money it hurts to loose |

It seems to be not very profitable in the long run to play those kind of hands. - Gus Hansen | |

he's obv late position or in the blinds based on the action.
you have a strong hand with lots of dead money, i fail to see why this would be anything but a raise with a drunk fish, another fish, and then what seems like a reg sandwiched in the middle.
raise, get the drunk to call, squeeze the reg out, and enjoy |

Why r u 3 betting? For value, bluff, to iso? Who r u trying to iso? The reg or drunk fish? If you have 100bb stack I like a 3b here.
If you r deep I like to flat here in pos, hand is super disguised, plus fish will come along and you get to see what he does. |

3bet 100 deep. Drunk reg never folds, Tight reg might fold, other guy whatever. I would not want to go to the flop 4 way here.. |

On a situation like this I think you should ALWAYS re-raise. The problem with your hand is that the fish almost always gets scared of A or K on the board. And you not gonna get much after the flop unless you are loosing to some stupid 2 pair combo. So by re-raising you can win a small pot on the spot which is always good. But you also piss them off by re-raising pre-flop and not letting them see a flop. Also you make the pot bigger so in case you did hit the flop your cbet will be much bigger. Many times fish call any flop with 99-JJ and fold on the turn. So you are making it more expensive for them in case you do hit the flop.
I really doubt u can stack anyone with AK these days unless they have a dominated hand like AQ, which again means it is better for you to re-raise preflop. |

This is a 3bet and I've been playing a lot of live 9 handed lately. You simply get called by worse so get value. |
