Sunday's night to monday was one of the biggest win i've ever played in my entire life live. Entered to that room with only 400 (blinds are 5/5, there wasn't any kind of maximum limit although we all agreed to not make so much difference between the shortest stack and the biggest in the beginning) and 7 hours later, I left with close to 4k.
I didn't feel particularly more happy than those time where I left winning twice or triple, but there was sure one thing that got me challenged : My jean's pocket being too tight for that money.
Dunno what i'll do with that, I fear that putting it on my bank would leave me nothing but troubles and I'm not sure how i'll explain where I got that money from if there was any question about that.
Maybe I'm still not realizing the money I won is huge, or if I'm just bored. Time will tell though !
Definitely hope that you get the same experience sooner or later, 'cause hey, everyone loves money right ?

this is false. i think you are referring to:

but note it says any activity that might signify money laundering, tax evasion, or other criminal activities.
a one time deposit of 5k is fine. and for that matter, a one time deposit of 10k is also probably fine. but to say that it is fine due to the amount is inaccurate. it depends on both the amount as well as the frequency. i've been audited because i deposited 2500 a month 3 consecutive months. true story. |

Actually today it is simply referred to as "structuring", whereby you obviously structure your deposits in an attempt to circumvent known amounts meant to set off alarms. The banks arent stupid, they will notice if you conveniently deposit $9999 every friday for a month. But for a one time deposit of 4k I doubt they'd care, since everybody has a little life heater every now and then. |

Lol, first I don't do drugs. Smoked a lot but stopped since 3 years ago.
Btw, it was a private game, so we had a lot of 10-20-50 bills, only 1 500 bill was thrown and 1x200 2x100.
Anyway, i'll probably deposit it on my bank. Thank for the suggestions, you all confirmed what I had in mind. I remember someone on LP.net that did deposit once every month for 3 months but it was like 3k each and then the bank suspected him of doing something shaddy. Pretty sure he was from poland... Dunno if it was you mnj ?

wow... When I withdrawal from poker earnings my bank sometimes asks me where it's from, I always freeze up and don't know what to say and then tell them it's from an online account. lolol :/ |
