Personally its not my cup of tea, which is why I dont much like Japanese porn, but porn is fantasy, its not real. Just because you jack off to something doesnt mean you would want to do it in real life, so the men and women who have this fantasy wouldnt actually want to rape or get raped irl.

Definetly agree with pinbaLL, I think that statement is completely ridiculous. It's almost surely less than 1%, probably 0.1%. The majority of people are mentally healthy individuals and even in the unhealthy individuals you have to differentiate.

Japan is really weird regarding this issue. Their sexual culture is very different from ours. Female submission is a lot more prevalent, so often times even normal pornography may seem like semi-rape. Also Hentai is completely absurd. There is a lot of rape, sexual abuse and pedophilia in Hentai pornography. I remember reading that the Japanese government is trying to crack down on this a little. It's sort of accepted, because the environment in which it takes place is very safe plus the anime setting provides a certain amount of abstraction from reality.
All this being said, Japan has the lowest rate of sex crimes in the world. So one might argue that their pornography industry provides a certain outlet for people that otherwise may be prone to sex-crimes. Another argument one could make is that people are less likely to report sex crimes in Japan due to personal shame being greater than a sense for justice.
I would like to add the disclaimer that I am not Japanese nor have I been to Japan, so I hope I have not offended anyone with my perception of Japanese sex-culture. My statements about Hentai however are factual and can be researched.

This. Many, many women have rape fantasies about being taken against their will as well. It has little to no bearing to what they want IRL (of course they don't want to be raped), but imagination and what turns someone on in their head shouldn't be judged as long as it doesn't translate into actions that break the law.

I agree with the premise of your statement. Somebody isn't evil for thinking "evil" if his actions are inherently good (though the bible will disagree on this). However I do think there are limitations to this. I think there is a certain limit to how dark a fantasy can get and once we reach that limit we have to start questioning whether fantasizing about various scenarios can maybe do more harm than good. Especially since in this case these scenarios are literally enacted and broadcasted to mass audiences.

Fantasies and reality is 2 different things. I have sometimes watched videos of multiples mens with 1 women, but doing that IRL would disgust me (don't want any men near me when doing sex...). The worst which might happen imo if a sane person watch a lot of rape videos is he might want to simulate one with his GF or something.

I don't enjoy all these crazy weird porn, but I don't think there should be and is any limit on these dark fantasies. And the definition of a fantasy should advocate for that. Why do you want to censor a fantasy, that's absurd. And saying how people would rape a 4yr old if they can get away with it because they watch rape porn is like saying you'll gladly kill a man and do other violent things because you watch action films and violent videogames, if you can get away with it.

All these baseless claims about human behaviour stemming from media needs to like fuckin stop.
