Im still doing good at heads up. I quite enjoy playing it and its so much more fun than 6-max, atleast right now. 6-max is a good grind to kill the huge bonus I have pending and generate good rakeback but its kinda boring imo. I guess I also prefer hu right now because Im doing well at it and Im breaking even at 6-max.
My computer is still broken down and I havent bothered trying to fix it, Ill stick to my laptop for now until I start to miss my stationary comp too much. I love my laptop, there is only one problem. I cant download stuff with torrents on it. Its so frustrating and I dont really know whats wrong. Normal downloads work fine but with torrents it instantly kills my internet connection. Anyone have any ideas whats causing this?

Best day in a long long time. Ive been destroying the hu tables all day with undiscriminating rage. I havent played one good player on ipoker hu yet. Some of the weaker regs have started refusing to play me which kinda sucks but I will get by. I busted in the ftops main event after like 2-3 hours. I was playing well imo but I was card dead throughout the donkament, failed a couple of steals and all of a sudden I was short and shoved AJ into AK. I swapped 10% with pinball and hes still in it so Im hoping he will take it down.
Beat: My computer has broken down. I tried reformating it but I cant even manage that, somehow the computer just blacks out just as the installation program is about to start and I have tried this with several cds. I have given up for now and ill have to settle for my awesome dell xps laptop.
Variance: I managed to qualify into ftops main event in a 12k fpp sattelite. Even though I hate donkaments with a passion Its going to be pretty fun to play this one and prices are huge.

I think that If I just could maintain dicipline and handle hu swings like a robot I should stick to playing HU only. 6-max can be really frustrating even at 1/2 and 2/4 on weekdays with alot of regulars that atleast have some grasp of how to play poker. Profit just comes so much easier hu, everyone wears their leaks around their necks and the diffrence in experience and deep understanding of poker fundamentals generates such huge profits.

I have a problem with hand histores though. It doesnt seem like pokertracker makes any diffrence between 6-max and hu so all hand histories gets lumped into one category really fucking with my 6-max stats. Anyone know how to fix this?

As I said in my new years resolutions, I told myself I needed to be more committed to playing more hands each month. In January I did exactly that, plugging in over 50,000 hands, something I haven't done since June of last year. Overall, the month felt really really rough. I started off down close to $8000, and had to grind back up to even from there. Variance is a bitch, but after my mid-month godly run (Ship the +$16k upswing), I ended up around 13k which is pretty solid for me:

Fucking die nit Here is my hourly for the month. Sadly it doesn't really compare to my December hourly, but I'm not going to complain because it's better than any job I can get right now anyways:

I have lost faith in both the idea that Im a good poker player and the notion that poker is a game of skill. I have moved to ipoker but my luck isnt changing and Im down about 2k since the move. After running bad for so long I find it really hard to make good thin folds and I keep questioning every aspect of how I play this game.
