Well i started playing online poker a few of months ago, had played a bit with friends and stuff before then but never for money, due to the law mainly, and my friends didnt want to.
Started using the free $50 on titan poker, came onto my account as £25, didnt notice the change in curreny at first and was like...wtf?! but anyways, manages to get that up to about £60 in my first month all was well and good.
decided to my hand on FTP after that, thought the standard would be better on there and would force me to improve at a quicker rate. Managed to double my $50 to $100 within a couple of weeks, and then lost about $20 of that over the next few weeks, went on holiday with some friends for a couple of weeks, and when i came back had my best 2 days ever, made $70 in 2 days! woop, and the came my first almighty downswing , was partly due to bad play i think, but felt like all my good hands got no action, and on the odd ocation they did they end up being out drawn. After a couple of weeks of the i found myself down to like $30 :/
So I decided to take a break, which was a bit longer than planned, but i wont get into that, and thats where i am now, made another $20 on FTP so back to $50 and still at £60 on titan. Got so books to read and vids to watch, so hopefully it'll be an upward curve from now
Now i lost 1/6 of it in two days. I don't even know why ( except maybe for my last sng when i tilted and went all in on a 366 board with my TT and of course a guy had 69 ( whereas i had raised 3x the bb pre flop haha ).
My style is the same. Sometimes i win when i shouldn't sometimes i lose when i have better odds.
I have seen people with -50% ROI winning whereas they have no clue about math and probabilities.
That is awesome.
Sometimes i wonder if life is the same. Maybe stupid people can also get better jobs and life even if they don't really try.
Mother wariance you are too cool, you make my sharkscope graph look like a roller coaster. I have seen 0.5% winning vs 99.5% and you told me it is standart.
I worship you mother variance. Now let me get ITM please.
Today (or yesterday) was my first day back playing poker since my prop bet ended. It's funny how things work..
After the bet ended, I had no idea I was about to take a month off of poker. Wish I coulda at least called it a vacation lol - but it wasn't
I'm not making this blog to get all into that tho, so suffice it to say that life changing stuff happened; and rarely does anything ever go as planned
so pokerrr!~
I played quite a few different levels and lots of different amounts of tables today
When I first brought Stars up, I thought I could just start right out with 10+ tables and quickly realized that wasn't a good idea. So I varied it, playing anywhere from 2 to 9 tables, just to get my feel back
Even tho it's only been one day so far, it doesn't feel like the game at stars has changed at all. I dunno why but for some reason I thought it might of.
Maybe it's just cuz I ran good. http://www.liquidpoker.net/user_pictures/31c6f1132991f221f9666bac187426af.jpg
I played NL .25 up to 1/2
I planned on getting more into it but I just got a phone call and have to meet someone in 10 minutes, so I'm just gonna post the biggest winning and losing hand BB/100 wise
funny they are both at nl25 biggest bb /100 hand lost biggest bb/100 won
So i traded my stars player points for two 250pound http://www.amazon.co.uk gift vouchers, basically cause they seemed like the best deal. i thought at worse ill be paying slighty more since the UK standard of living is high, and will be facing a slightly more limited range. also, before trading, i did email amazon.co.uk to ask if they could deliver items to Australia. They said something along the lines that they were a worldwide company and yes they can. Now i found out that they only deliver MUISC/DVD/BOOKS worldwide. In otherwords im fucked/epic fail/etc.
So i obv dont want 800USD worth of musicc/dvd/books. I just wanted to get an IPOD for my gf and a 24 inch monitor for myself, which sadly will never happen now. So what im proposing is for UK players to choose something they want from the amazon.co.uk website, i will order it and have it delivered to your specified address, and you can pay be back through stars/neteller/moneybookers in USD.
of course ill be giving an incentive. i will be giving a 20% discount absorbed by me off the listed price of any item. note that the vouchers in total is 500pounds
some items of interest (rather the items i was going to buy )
Thank You For Smoking [2005] DVD - Amazon price - £4.98
(You pay just £3.98)
24" TFT Samsung SyncMaster 245B plus 5ms DVI Wide LINK- £259.00
(You pay just £207.2, saving a massive £51.8)
Based on my 2 hours of research, i found this monitor and the benQ 2400 monitors to be the best in terms of value for money and capability. But this was cheaper so i chose it)
New Apple iPod classic 120GB LINK - Silver £172.41
(You pay just £137.9)
other notes:
Delivery of electronic products is listed on amazon as 2-3 days.
If i have many offers im going to choose the person who makes the most use of the 500pounds i.e spends closest to 500.
Exchange rate used will be as at XE.com which is 1 GBP = 1.76761 USD atm
So PM me ASAP and hopefully this will be a mutually benifical trade =)
Hmm think im going to take a few days off, id say due to bad beats im down about 600-700, the rest tilt related hero calls and bluffs. Gunna play some starcraft
+$28,000/48k hands
half way done with clearing my $4,000 bonus
+$250 from tilt rakeback
And finally...my first real brag...our family is moving into a house. Going to be such a sweet jump from living in apartments my whole life. Plus, it's a pretty sick house. Pics soon to come.
Reason why no graphs is because i would have to post four entirely different graphs. This is because i played on two different computers and two different sites. (stars and tilt) I'll probably end up posting a lifetime graph anytime soon anyway.
And post something about the Bail-out, especially after Bane showed so much confidence in me in eightfourO's blog post, but sadly economics are a weak point for me. Especially this bail-out shit. So I figure I'll make a fun post and then close with my few bailout thoughts.... aaannndddd
What's more fun than watching McCain get lost on stage?
I guess it's also pretty fun to see him say that he turned to Palin for foreign policy advice many times in the past... lolz
NPR: Given what you’ve said Senator, is there an occasion where you could imagine turning to Governor Palin for advice in a foreign policy crisis.
MCCAIN: I’ve turned to her advice many times in the past, I can’t imagine turning to Senator Obama or Senator Biden because they’ve been wrong. They were wrong about Iraq, wrong about Russia –
NPR: But would you turn to Governor Palin?
MCCAIN: I certainly wouldn’t turn to them, and I’ve already turned to Governor Palin particularly on energy issues and I’ve appreciated her background and knowledge on that and many other issues.
Anyway, back to the bailout. eightfourO posted a video that had a bit of a conspiracy theory feeling to it (especially cause the guy talking was really funny to watch). I'm gonna repost it here in the spoiler, and put a shorter version of the same thing without the weird guy above it. I'm not endorsing these ideas yet but I figure you guys are smart enough to take in the info and come to a conclusion.
Weird looking guy who is apparently credible and not a conspiracy theorist in spoiler: + Show Spoiler +
And here's my response to those video's that I posted in eightfourO's blog:
That guy in the first video was really funny looking and funny to watch. But he made some interesting points.
If he's right and all the reason's we've been sold are just BS, then wow, this totally ain't cool. I also think it's very sus for paulson to say that it's a veto if money can't go overseas =(
Overall I don't know who this guy is so I am approaching this skeptically as potential conspiracy theory, but I also think it's quite possibly true, which really is ridiculous. Anyway, I think that if there does need to be a bailout, this ridiculous "PUSH IT THROUGH ASAPLY" line of thinking doesn't make sense to me. I feel like it just means we're going to compromise important shit because we're rushing... Now they're having to add other tax cuts to the bill to make it appeal to the house. The senate is attaching it to another popular bill which is an uber gay move imo. Overall I just don't like anything about this bailout situation =(
No conspiracy guy, he hates "tin foil bullshit" on his forum. Things must be supported by truth or he won't say it. He has appeared on Glenn Beck and he's credible.
So that gets things one step closer to being solid. Now I need to see that the bill really wouldn't be applied to helping on this student loan/mortgage and so on shit. I wouldn't be surprised if this guys right though, which is a really sad state to be in T_T

Hey everyone, haven't made a blog post in a long time. Wish i could post some pt3 results for the past months but i no longer have it, since holdem manager is 100 times better and bug free. Oh, for my nursing placement they put us in the community these year so i'm with children 1-4 years old. Most were a little scared of me because i was so big, but they all like me now
My bro, myself and 2 good friends on mine started grapling once per week and teaching us take down techniques lots of fun. Got some vids below of us, keep in mind i'm new at this:
Also got myself some contact lenses for halloween and made a little vid of that. I plan to be a vampire:
