Main poker goal/resolution: Make it to NL200 by the end of next year.

Minor poker goals: [ ] Start/Beat NL25 over semi-large sample by the end of 2009
[ ] 100k hands cash games by end of January
[ ] Get a good poker coach to help with my game.

Hey -- its the T-dawg here throwing some fire your way homes,

The past couple days have been pretty good. I've been semi-trying to get some good hand volume in so that I can get my bankroll into better shape. It has been going alright, and I'm going to make my goal of 60k hands this month. I'm not sure how much I'm going to be able to play while I'm traveling, but I hope I will be able to put in 20 hours of actual play along with a couple of hours of studying each week.

My biggest priority for the holiday season is to relax and enjoy, though, since why do I bust my ass and get all stressed about for, anyways? To relax and enjoy myself. Its been going well, except for a hiccup on Sunday where I spent far too much time with my ex-gf, luckily in the end it ain't no thang.

I'm having a party (on very short notice..) here at my dad's place for new year's eve. We have an awesome place, are going to roast a pig, shoot some fireworks, etc. Its going to be a little bit of work getting everything ready but hopefully it will be worth it :D If any good pictures are taken I'll try and share (comedic value etc).

I will swing by with an overview of my year soon.. I think it was a pretty good year, especially the time I spent in vegas, so I'm pleased.

Hi there, I'm just back from 1/2 live playing session and I'm really obssessed by one of the hands I've played there.It was vs a regular who I've played a lot and I kinda soulread him.Because my tight image across the table at all I decided to raise from the button with Qc6h to 12 and get called by 2 ppl one of which was this guy.The flop comes QsJc3c I got 2 checks before me so I cbet for 31 and the reg who was SB raise me for 200.He was with almost 600$ infront of him since I had a little more than 300$.So it was time for hard decision, I knew he has some kind of flush draw, but this raise was like...LOL.So I called him and...the end is clear - allin on the turn, and club on the river.I just don't know what to think for this hand.Since the turn was 6d which gave me 2 pairs with about 50-60 left in my stack I don't think I had any other option than getting allin on the turn, but decpite this the hand was obv. decided on the flop and I'm not sure If I make the right decision.Mathematically I know that I'm ahead, and I was 101% sure he is on flushdraw but is this enough to call in this situation or I should fold and wait for better spot since all the players on the table were super fishes?I was reading this guy like an open book but this sitll wasn't enough.Maybe I really should have fold this, but dman it, in spots like this when you know exactly what to expect is it really still a bad call?

Hey guys, i have some questions bout FTP:

- if i buy some items from the FTP store, do they subtract their value from my rakeback?

- i registered to rakeback here on LP.net rakeback. it was like 2-3 days ago, and the tracker still shows 0.00MGR /obv its wrong/. how much time does it need to refresh the first time?

- i clearly have no idea how rakeback tracking works, would anyone be so kind to explain it to me? can i play on any FTP client with my account /i have 2 computers/, or the actual client has nothing to do with tracking?

Worst day ever for me as far as money is concerned. More importantly it was my first session back from my break and it destroyed the confidence I have built up recently...feelings of I was just on a 52k hand heater start to creep into my mind. I played like shit, ran like shit. I need to get myself together. My goal is to make $10k in January which should be easily possible if I can just gather myself.

Not much to say. I didn't tilt, and I'm happy with how I played. Whatever. Down -7.5k today, mostly at 5/10 hu but still.
