Sup yall,
So due to me going back to Europe on may 23rd from CA, I have put 400nl shot on hold for a while. I focused on school and now the past 8 days on 200nl. I have played very solid, about 2-3 sessions a day each roughly about 2-3 hours long. So first i was down about 8 bi or so, played kind of recklessly, wasn't much ''in the game'', just grinded. Obviously at some point i understood that i was playing like shit and got my shit together. So i have had a rollercoaster graf that kept moving upwards slowly. It looks like i have dag myself out of the hole for now. I have rose up about 18 buyins, so it looks like this month should come green hopefully. However i will not be able to Grind much 23-31 may bc im going to be in London for 3-4 days and in Paris, hopefully can go check out French Open. Then return back to my humble small home country called Estonia ( yeah where the EPT kicks off in August) after being abroad in CA for 9 months. I sincerely hope that the Volcano in Iceland is not going to affect my flights in any way.
Also bought a cool thing a few days ago: tataratatataaaaaa the waterproof camera. The thing is absolutely awesome. Im already looking to go snorkeling or scubadiving to Turkey or around the mediterrian sea in July. Gonna be an awesome trip w gf and friends. Here is a pic of it:
Federal prosecutors are again indicating they mean business in going after the online poker business. Their strategy is focused on the industry's payment processors, the folks who move the money among players, banks and poker companies.
The U.S. Attorney in Manhattan struck a big blow on Tuesday by getting Douglas Rennick, 35, a Canadian payment processor, to show up in New York and plead guilty to violating the Wire Act by processing more than US$350-million in the U.S. for Internet poker companies and other online gaming firms.
The plea deal hits the biggest online poker companies offering U.S. play, PokerStars and Full Tilt Poker. Rennick agreed to forfeit US$583-million, funds that partly belonged to players of those and other companies. PokerStars and Full Tilt reimbursed the players after federal prosecutors froze funds handled by Rennick in June 2009.
Rennick faces 12 months in prison and is slated to be sentenced in September. A spokesperson for the U.S. Attorney in Manhattan declined to comment on whether Rennick is cooperating with any ongoing investigation. Rennick's plea agreement only says it is conditional on "subsequent conduct prior to the imposition of sentence." The question is whether Rennick's plea deal is part of a prosecutorial strategy that is going after only payment processors, or the online poker companies as well.
As Forbes pointed out in February, the owners and operators of the biggest online poker firms are an open secret -- and many of them can be found regularly playing poker in Las Vegas or promoting their companies at U.S. events shown on television.
The U.S. online poker industry services 2.5 million Americans who play and bet US$30-billion annually. Since PartyGaming exited the U.S. online poker market, it has been dominated by PokerStars and Full Tilt, a company associated with famous poker players like Howard Lederer and Christopher Ferguson.
The online poker firms take the position that online poker does not violate any U.S. laws, but the Justice Department has consistently said that facilitating for-money online poker is illegal. Speculation that the Obama administration's Justice Department would not pursue online poker cases as aggressively as was the case during the Bush administration appears to be receding.
Still, U.S. law is vague enough on the issue of online poker that the Justice Department has appeared reluctant to confront online poker firms directly and in court. Federal prosecutors have been much more comfortable going after payment processors. In April Daniel Tzvetkoff, the Australian owner of another payment processor used by online gaming firms, was arrested in Las Vegas and charged by federal prosecutors of bank fraud and money laundering.
Rennick's legal problems began last June when the U.S. Attorney in Manhattan froze US$34-million owed to at least 14,000 players from companies that processed payments for poker games hosted by Full Tilt and PokerStars, which both reimbursed its players. The companies targeted in the seizures included Rennick's Account Services Corporation, which had US$16.3 million in an account at Wells Fargo frozen. Rennick tried to contest the seizures in federal court in San Diego with the support of the Poker Players Alliance, a Washington, D.C., lobbying group whose chairman is Alfonse D'Amato, but Rennick was indicted by federal prosecutors shortly afterwards. Rennick is forfeiting the frozen funds as part of his plea deal.
I make some mistakes in spots that cost me alot of money. Most of my losses are from stuff that I feel like if I work hard I can get away from my mistakes. The style really gets you in a bunch of close spots, and to be able to play it I have to hand-read effectively enough to get away from them. Its a really fun way to play I think and I hope to be able to use it profitably [Against the right opponents]. Of course, I would also need to have TAG in my skill-sets as well and just use whatever works at the time.
Anyway...Here are some hands I wanted some help with. If you were at the table, what kinda insight would the mentioned hands give you about how the player plays? How would you adjust? (Theres Some Information Regarding Each Hand way at the Bottom. Its not much but Its probably better to read it before or while lookinga t the hands).
A side Question I have was When you are Thinking about Preflop Ranges, How do you group the Broadways so its organized? Like when people Say JT+ or KJ+ I confuse myself into thinking it goes up by Jacks, Tens, or Connectors Ex Goes up by JT,JQ vs JT,QT,KT, vs JT,QJ,KQ. What do you guys use to organize this?

Hand 1 Information :
I have an aggro image but he is new to the table. He has seen me play probably only about 5-6 hands. Hes seen me Fold to 3-bet twice in a row when the guy to my left 3-bet.
And The first time he raised button I 3bet him and he folded
He is playing 4 tables and when he button raised that first hand i pegged him as a TAG
Hand Two Information:
I think he has been at the table long enough to realize I am trying to win alot of pots.
The Hand before I think he did something like Flat A6o from BB Before and Take a Check/Call Turn line and Check Back River on an AcJc7x and then I forget what the Turna nd River were but they were Bricks ( I raised the button).
So I went fishing with MasterofLaw and his dad this weekend. The fishing was fairly bad, the guide really great and the weather fine. The cottage we lived in might've been the worst damn thing I've ever lived in though. Keep in mind that this comes from someone who've shared a 4*5m building with no electricity or running water with 3 other guys for a week without feeling annoyed or complaining before.
First of all. There's something seriously fucked about a kitchen with ~10 different kind of knives and not one damn spoon or fork. It was also generally dirty and a lot of stuff looked fairly suspect. The "gubbjävel" ("damned old guy") we rented it of told us to make sure to get a fire going all night to get rid of the moisture since we were the first guest for the season. So we light the fire, we don't think much about it until MoL decides to look at it before he goes to bed and notice that there's more flammable objects hidden behind the fireplace then in a fucking crack factory. Fairly sure we'd burned to death if he hadn't moved all the crap.
The house was big though so we got a room each. I laid down to read a bit, annoyed that the damn bed was to short for me (I'm 184 cm and my feet were outside the bed ) when I heard MoL scream something and then come knock on my door. I was like "oum.. what?" and he goes of on the longest rants I've ever heard about how much his bed sucks since he found some small insects. He went on about how he food pee-stains on the bed, how the thing was probably from the Interwar period and went to sleep on the floor. I found this absolutely hilarious until something bit me on my shoulder. I did, however, decide that I was to tired to care about anything smaller then a fairly big snake so I went to sleep anyway.
To tired to write about the rest of the crap that happened but needless to say the trip was a lot of fun but not very productive at all.

So, I havent blogged in a while and its 735 AM and, once again, thanks to drinking for entirely too long on friday night and conversely sleeping all day long yesterday I am still awake... Not really feeling tired at all which is potentially good because I'm trying to win some sats into both the mini ftops ME and the Scoop low ME. There's like a $22 scoop low today too, would love to play all 3 of those, might even eat a steak if one of my friends wants to gambool.
I'm pretty broke atm, havent had a job for a long time and i don't think I can coast off of what I got really anymore. Got two very promising job leads making 1k+ a week which would obv be pretty balla for having to have a job. I'm really glad that I have an amazingly sound working background to fall back on when I make mistakes and try to go pro @ poker with a bankroll that can't support my life with combined play bad.
Further ranting, I have no idea wtf is wrong with me but I haven't had sex since january and I have nothing, nor am i trying to line anything up. I haven't talked to a girl seriously in a real long time... no idea wtf is going on there.
I really want to start working out too, for whatever reason loco really inspires me when it comes to health, i wish I was more like him. Nonetheless, I'm down to 170lbs which i think is just basically exactly how much I want to weigh, I don't want to be skinny at all.
huge shoutout to my hon friends, you guys make my day much more entertaining (ps night2o1 is the bestest)
and now, it's time to attempt to win a sat albeit im working with basically fpps lol not looking promising
I just experience my first ever 5.8 magnitude earthquake wow did i saw the ground moving for like 2 minutes thank god i was drinking and i didn't felt it so bad the scariest part was that in the hole island after those 2 minutes the lights when off sick scary moment i wonder if then end of the island is coming..
i think i need to go get a job lolby whamm!, May 15
obv make money on the side but more coz i think poker has kind of "ruined" my life haha. no balance just poker and buying stuff, it's come to a point where buying stuff isn't really making me feel good anymore, hence demotivating me to grind/play better etc. tbh id be happy earning cheeseburger rate having a job than just sit all day and look forward to gym and shit. im doing ok with poker now and im pretty sure ill wipe out that ptr fiasco of mine by middle of this year or earlier. just that i dont see the point in grinding only to get more material stuff. imma try look for one starting next month and ask some friends of mine for a token job.
heres a nice movie coming this year:
btw, ive been meaning to ask this for years now but keep forgetting. how does one make paragraphs here? even if i space stuff it still comes out as a huge wall of text. ty and gl guys.
Alot of these spots or somewhat boring/common and villain depending but If you could keep your advice as specific as possible. Some spots look similar but are different other spots are pretty much repeats. Please feel free to comment only a few hands.
As always I appreciate any feedback.
Hand 1: Do you double barrel here with the added equity? Or do you prefer c/calling and not getting blown off with a hand with so much equity. Do you call here? Do we have any implied odds watsoever? We can stack a flush sometimes, but will get stacked by a fullhouse sometimes + Show Spoiler +

WASHINGTON - President Barack Obama on Friday angrily decried the "ridiculous spectacle" of oil industry officials pointing fingers of blame for the catastrophic spill in the Gulf of Mexico and pledged to end a "cozy relationship" between the oil industry and federal regulators that he said had extended into his own administration.
Obama said he shared the "anger and frustration" felt by many Americans, and promised he would "not rest or be satisfied" until the leak had been capped, the spill had been cleaned up and gulf residents could return to their livelihoods.
He also acknowledged differing estimates about just how disastrous the damage from the leak could become. He said the administration's response has "always been geared toward the possibility of a catastrophic event."
...
Reacting to the president's remarks, NBC's Andrea Mitchell said, "I frankly don't remember a Rose Garden scene like that against the industry since JFK and the steel industry."
