Hi, I am in a very bad situation which has been going on for weeks. I have attained my widthdrawal limit with moneybookers and must verify my account. I have went through the painfully long process, but since the deposit is done manually at my bank, neither myself nor the staff from my bank can produce a document that has both the transfer information in screenshot format and moneybookers as the depositor (for their -15$ security verification deposit). MB keeps refusing my documents and I have been stuck without my money for 3 whole weeks now. I am on the verge of depression as I can't fullfil financial commitments I had made based on the idea that I would have that money soon...
So as my last resort, I am looking at LP again, I posted a similar blog when this first popped up but no one replied...

I have hordes of gold chips/gold cards on cake and just won a seat to this and it happens on may 30th. Cake runs insane amounts of sats to this tournament and if it's what it used to be like it's ridiculously soft because of the immense number of sats.

I'm basically finished with my finals. The only exam that I've got left is an oral advanced English one which will be a piece of cake. I'm happy it's all over but I lost a bet today by a difference of 1 point. I scored 10/20 in an oral Polish exam and my friend scored 11. The loser has to stand for 1 hour in the middle of our city's downtown with a "Free Hugs" sign. Well, I guess it's not such a horrible thing to do
I can now start managing my days however I want to. I'll begin tomorrow with signing up for a gym membership and playing a long-awaited session of poker. I guess that's it for now. I'll try to keep you posted about my chilled holiday life
A while back I posted that I was building a new PC for SC2 and poker...aside from a few minor pieces, I have everything ordered and am beyond psyched to get it running.
So yeah, I'm getting that together as quickly as I can. Obviously I need a DVD drive and a few other things, but it's getting pretty close.
Poker has been going pretty well for me. +~6 bi's playing NL200 at a charity thing by my house over the past couple weeks (roughly 3 sessions, they only have it in the area once a week and I couldn't play one time). Online my bankroll has been up and down, but I've been pretty good about going down in limits and grinding my way back when I'm on a downswing. Hopefully by June I can be playing NL25 full time, and I hope to get Goldstar status this month.
i havent really figured this out yet, but i feel this is kind of stupid easy to do. i want a 3 hard drive setup for use with raid5, which boosts performance and data reliablity, but im not sure if my mobo supports it, im sure it supports raid0 and raid1. i have a msi x58M mobo and i want to run 3 drives for speed and reliability. help.

I'm on a cruise boat throughout Scandinavia. Internet costs a ridiculous fuckton, 175 dollars/500 minutes at the most +EV rate, and I've bought this package 3 times already so I've spent over half a grand on shitty satellite internet. I justified this by saying well I can easily make that $ back playing poker, and this is what happens. Can't really stop running into just ridiculous bullshit, i don't know. A big FU to all of those who run amazing every time they take a shot at high stakes >=/ (at least until iii start running hot).
Hi there, kind of my first post here in lp.. gonna introduce myself.
I play poker around a year and a half.. basicly began on stars playing retarded sngs and then started live MTTs on casinos of my country (i live in Lima-Peru so excuse me if my latino fucked up english sucks).. after winning some decent money i decided to play cash tables and got a deal with the guy who introduced me to online poker.. bongky.
Right now im a "decent" (as if not bad but not too good either) reg playing nl20 6max on ipoker. Used to play FR but due to friends advice and the desire of stop being a rbnitpro i switched to 6max (About 3 months ago).
Started 6max with $800 on february and went down on the learning process to $600. After feeling like a piece of trash i got some coaching from bongks and saw a couple of poker vids (basicly Verneer's cardrunners vids).. they helped me, A LOT.
Kind of felt nice when i changed from this (march) to this (april). My red line sucks a lot but im happy i kind of stopped it from going straight down to kind of down, rofl.
Decent winrate i guess.. the only problem is that during may i realized i had 1.5k roll so i went like "omg time to nl50 yay"... and got crushed on 700 hands losing like 6 buyins running really bad and of course playing bad because of that (scary new limit, bawww).
Now 6 buyins aint that bad.. but then you consider that 6 nl50 buyins = 15 nl20 buyins.. ouch.
Not that bad tho.. i feel so confident everytime i sit at nl20 tables that i end up winning 4-5bis like its nothing.. so during this week i recovered all my nl50 losses on nl20.. im back now at 1.5k.
Now, do you think i should do anything special b4 doing my 2nd shot?.. i mean, i know you all pros are like "omg its fuckin micros play ABC poker and thats it you newfag" but it doesnt look like that when i join the tables. Nl20 is so freaking passive i play 22/20 sometimes reaching 25/23 and i crush everyone.. 3bet around 6 all the time.. but when i play on nl50 i get 3bets and 4bets all the time i try to get control of the table and that makes me reach a tilt point.
basicly:
nl20 = easy 3bets from me = a lot of small pots = profit
nl50 = easy 3bets from me = lots of 4bets from other players = losing small pots a lot = tilt = not profit.
Im thinking of starting nl50 playing more TAG than usual and kind of 19/17 or something like that.. at least thats what bongky told me it would be a good plan so.. i guess ill try it.
oh, btw ipoker just slapped me and called me a "shark".. making my rb smaller than it used to be.. booo.
