1. i'm too emotionally invested in the magic. it pains me. i should prob leave emotional investing to random movies/tv shows since they have happy endings. paul pierce you are such a flopping bitch. gl 2 ray allen, kednrick "the scowl" perkins and r.r (tehy should just go ahead and give him most improved)

2. i think i'm starting to really enjoy poker. i really want to get good at this game. i realize i'm terrible. i realize the regs at .5/1 are all terrible. i'm kinda hoping to talk to someone about fixing alot of my pf leaks. in a nutshell i used to call with pretty much any 2 cards in position (specifically on the dealer) because at nl25/50 you have a great deal of implied odds and you don't get squeezed as much. i kinda want to discuss/go over hand ranges with somebody else who plays nl 100 as i feel i have pretty poor understanding of card value. i also do not understand raising QJ, A9 in the blinds vs a button open (and lots of other similar concepts). but i really am starting to love this game. and more importantly i'm starting to believe i can actually get good at this game.

i hate including graphs. especially meaningless graphs over short samples but i'm only including these to be taken semi seriously. i never take offense to comments as it's never bad to double check but i grow tired of hearing advice from not-so-great-regs. i remember a long time ago when i first started, i used to get some questionable advice which used to really hurt my game. i guess props to collegesucks, talentedtom, conquistador (from cook islands i think) who used to give me the best advice back in the day.

3. i just recently graduated college with an econ major and feel very unsure of my future and have no idea what to do. i applied for many jobs but can't seem to land one. any advice would be appreciated. i feel very weird about my college experience as i used to be really competitive @ high school and graduated top 10 in my class. but with college for many reasons, i could not maintain my focus nor take it seriously. i kinda want to go to grad school as i believe i can be really successful but i do not want to repeat the same mistakes. sadly finally understanding and beating nl50 was more fulfilling than graduating college

4. anyway i feel like naruto, extremely hopeful for the future and hope to crush nl 100, 200 and 400 some day~

also i recently watched "5 cm per second" which may be conincidentally the most beautiful thing i've ever watched

econ degrees are not the easiest degrees to land jobs. I just graduated from the University of Michigan, which is a pretty highly regarded school, and many of the econ majors don't take jobs after graduating. Some cannot find jobs and some are doing various graduate schools, although it is more weighted toward grad school. I was in the same boat as you, do well in HS and get lazy in college. The truth is, unless you are doing something like business or engineering at a top school(where you need to try moderately hard to not be worst in class), you better try damn hard or else you are not finding a job in this market. At this point, just keep trying, and grad school is a good option to full time work. Nice job in poker, do that for a living .

phil hellmuth is genuinely a stupid person and he does not understand poker very well at all - [vital]myth
